The Catholic vs. Convicts 30 for 30 documentary being told from the Notre Dame perspective just goes to show that the success they had in that era ran through Coral Gables & the 1988 national championship (by beating Miami) was the only beacon of greatness that team and coaching staff were able to muster for posterity. That era of CFB was dominated by the Canes, and they very well know it. It’s all about the 🙌
That 3rd and 43 play against N Dame in the OB was crazy. I believe that was part of an 11 minute drive for a TD. I was in the OB that Thanksgiving weekend night. I remember how unusually hot and humid it was for late November. N Dame wilted in the heat.
Always excited for the start of the season and always sad when the season is over. I am a canes fan through n through but I am also a hugh fan of college football! I think it is the best sport and even better than the NFL!
NCAA Football 2017 2 a days workouts 6-8 hrs a day more physical contact, individual team workout without coaches off season,were banned due to injuries & health issues. Now 3-4 hrs workouts 1 day off, fewer overall workouts.
I think the defensive tackle depth is more of a concern than the defensive backfield. Not really sure if we have enough quality D tackles to stop the run on a consistent basis but we will see if my observation is wrong!
For the 1st time in 20 years I feel Miami Hurricanes 2024 team could be the best since 2002, definitely better than 2017. Years past they were average to below only 2017, they were blown out Clemson in ACC championship game and ran over 250 + yds Taylor in the Orange bowl game.

Because the kids still bust their butt from Winter workouts until summer camp regardless of NIL so what’s the real issue?
