Feels so satisfying to see your first CS2 tutorial. I remember watching your tutorials back in 2014-15 in college. We have grown up in CS and it's part of our life now.
since the announcement, i have watched so many videos on cs2 and i thought i knew everything at this point. but i was wrong. i learned so many new mind blowing things in this video. you are one of the best csgo youtubers out there. you are so underrated in terms of numbers, please never stop making videos !
I remember how clumsy csgo felt when it was in beta, this in comparison looks and feels much better Even still hype was 1000 times more I remember i even downloaded one of those vmware virtual server just to be able to play the beta since it was almost impossible to get into
they’ve definitely been quietly working on the game for a long time, this is pretty much the finishing touches, no wonder they’re confident in setting the release only a couple months from now
about the smoke shooting: if you put your viewmodel more at the center of the screen, you can see through it. I think it will be changed so it's not dependant on your viewmodel settings... but until now it's.
@@primtve_dope9568 so, I think the holes in the smoke when YOU shoot it are client sided, this way there won't be any lag for you when making holes in the smoke. When other people shoot the smoke and you see holes, those are from server, so the holes will have to use head positions to be calculated. I just don't know why the client sided holes are using viewmodel position instead of your own head position.
@@joao.mambelli They might be intentional so they are a slight nerf to the bullet hole mechanic so it's harder to see through the hole if you are shooting right next to the smoke.
@@melc311 I doubt that. Personally I always used viewmodels as centered as possible, I find it less distracting since they take less space on the screen. In this case I would have an advantage over people using viewmodels more to the right of the screen. If they wanted to nerf it, they would do it in a different way.

For sure, in a competitive environment, every frame counts, but it could have been much worse, having 250+ frames out of the gate is gonna be amazing, and the great thing is, as we get faster hardware, it’s only going to get better Even with relatively old hardware, it seems like you’ll still be able to get competitive FPS
People complaining about dropping from 400fps to 300 like as if they are even remotely close to good enough for it to matter. Most of them probably have a 60Hz monitor anyway Same people who think a gamer chair and LED lights will get them an extra rank lmao
you can put the autoexec in the folder game/cfg and type in "exec autoexec" Also the command "use" to take out nades is no longer supported the alternative is to use "slotX" with X being a number Btw every time i change a setting it is logged in the console I don't know why but it's pretty usefull to check the command to create binds

i did see something while watching a streamer go through their settings. There is a donate weapon keybind now, this was overlooked and i think people still aren't aware of it. Not sure what it does exactly, I'm not in the test, but im imagining it allows you to buy for a teammate directly to them so you dont get into that situation where someone nabs it while you're tossing it to your teammate and keeps it for themselves. love that, hopefully that is what it does.
In the old console the text stopped, not because of the console size, but because they for some reason created a 128 byte buffer for the command description, which didn't display more than 127 characters of it (as far as i could tell by the code) i was already wondering if they fixed that after all these years, thanks for the video!
Your coverage on CS2 was really needed Maxim. I just Valve tone down the brightness of the maps because they want to improve visibility but they have to keep in mind to have stuff that is eye friendly. That's my general thought.
I love the new features. The recoil crosshair following, no sky box, the throwing point, the valorant circle sound marker and the workout of grenades pretty cool.

i am 1000% playing cs 2, i played it a bit once upon a time but coming from console gaming and cod, it was like a culture shock and i just never got into it, i can see myself playing this now, being a pc gamer the last 5 years has really helped me appreciate games like cs go, i play with my buddy who's REALLY REALLY into it and his energy is a bit much for a casual gamer like myself but i can't wait to have some casual fun with cs 2 as it addressed one of my biggest gripes about cs go, none of my casual friends would play because it looked like a relic of the past but it plays so great, if i could just get em to past the looks they would love it. i have a feeling this is gonna bring in a lot of folks who like my friends, tend to judge some games by their cover.

But I have to point out two things: 1st As far as I know, you can't bunny hop in CS: Go, because Valve wanted an "easy" gameplay for beginners, so they cutted out the traditional bhop that we know from 1.6. 2nd The myth, that you can silent jump with ducking in CS: Go is busted: Even though you can't hear anything yourself (that's true), your enemies can! Just test it and you will notice it, that the players around you can still hear your duck jump.
the follow crosshair is my favorite feature, i hope it still stays in the final released on comp. It helps you alot with your muscle memories while actually playing the game instead of just grinding 10000 hours on a practice map so i can somewhat have fun with the game.
i was hoping something with the aiming would be different really pleased to here that the crosshair is acutally going to follow the recoil pattern i might give cs a try
I also like how getting shot in the head doesn't hurt my ears. (though it feels like it has now transferred to the flashbang :\ hope they can tone down, or at least give the option to, the lasting ringing from flashes.)
I like the new fallow recoil option but It works completely differently to how I thought it would and IMO how it should. The crosshair should fallow the recoil + the camera should fallow the crosshair.
I think because of the jumpthrow fix, they actually made jumpscouting easier. I've been practicing it and I've been able to hit accurate jumpscouts consistently. New meta?
If you change your viewmodel to look like quake you can see clearly through smokes when carving. Pretty big bug if it is one and I'm not sure howd theyd be able to patch that
it feels weird to me that they only changed three gun sounds. perhaps they're just testing those 3 out and will implement the rest based on reactions from the community?

yesh it's weird how it comes out of the gun when bullets really come out of your face in csgo. they'll change that for sure

Does it log the original value? I usually enter a command with no parameters to make it echo the current value before I change it

Follow recoil is going to be gamechanger. Pros will use it no matter what. Every shot counts. Using Follow Recoil will benefit just that.
