I bought the Seltos GT Line with all the bells and whistles in Snow Pearl White 6 months ago and LOVE LOVE LOVE my car !!!! not to mention the BOSE speakers 🔊.... WOWEEE ....it drives soooo good.... and the look of the car is gorgeous too !!!! 💞🙂
The lack of LED lights in anything but the GT Line means I ordered a GT Line. I could have gone without quite a lot of things in the top spec but one of the minimum requirements I had for my next car was LED headlights. I also think that anyone not including rear air vents in a car sold in Australia in 2020+ needs to give their head a wobble. Again the GT Line has this feature but really, they should all have it (not a dig specifically at Kia because I think they have this option more often than a lot of the competition). I will be carrying people in the second row on a fairly regular basis and their comfort was definitely a consideration for me.
They should retire the Sportage and use the Kia Seltos for the mid-size SUV. The Sportage has a hideous front and rear end but the Seltos has a beautiful sleek design.
Good review. I test-drove both the Sport+ CVT and the GT-Line, I went for the Sport+ CVT as best bang for buck. While I enjoyed the GT line's 1.6T, its DCT delivered the acceleration torque in what I call 'moments of glory'. By comparison, I found the CVT acceleration continuous and more controllable, especially in congested traffic.
We bought one for my wife last december. She LOVES it. The look and the (so many) features grabbed her attention. Previously we tried the Cerato GT but she didn't like it ( I did and bought one for myself a few months later :D ). The space in the back and the wide opening back doors were selling points as well (easy to put the kid in and out from the car). Sometimes I drive it too and I think two things are missing from this car what the Cerato GT has: 1) Paddle shifters 2) 20kW extra power Anyway, it is a great SUV. :)
Thanks for writing in Steve :-) You guys are a KIA couple by the sounds of it. 2 great points you raised as well as to what’s missing from the Seltos which the Cerato has.
KIA Seltos rear Aircon vent blowing warm air when Aircon temperature is set at 25 degree celsius and outside environmental temperature is above 34 degree celsius, their service work shop claimed that is normal. During the visit on 26 Apr 2021, inspection was carried out on the vehicle’s Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning System; the values such as Ambient Temperature Sensor, Evaporator Temperature Sensor, photo sensor, In-car air temperature sensor and other related values that maintain the operation of the climatic air-conditioning system. We did not find any abnormalities in the values and all sensors and actuators are functioning normally and a diagnostic scan with the manufacturer’s diagnostic scanner did not report any diagnostic trouble codes. These data was also inspected and compared to 2 other similar vehicles and the performance was found to be similar and thus the vehicle’s air-conditioning system was judged to be operating normally. That's really radiculous aircon
In india the kia seltos and hyundai creta are locked in a battle......even in this lockdown sales are neck to neck.....nice points covered...good review 👍
ours has 18" wheels and Kumho tyres - its a bit noisy ( tyre noise) on chip roadway, but quiet enough inside on smooth roads. I have a set of 16" wheels to try on it with different tyres to see if it makes any difference....probably will as the tyre aspect ratio is different.
Thanks Thanh. Unfortunately it is always the case Thanh. We notice it as well when looking at some American models of cars it feels like we get the basic spec’d versions by the time they make their way down under.

shame about the poor interior plastics, but good looking suv, plus for that price, i'd expect gas strut for the bonnet. the Japanese cars need to drop NA engines and CVT.
42k for a baby Kia - Puhleez give me a break. Anything more than 25k on the brand is a waste for something that is going to last for a max of 10 years anyway. Quite struggle to note anything more than that age that is a Hyundai or a Kia on the road.

That's good to hear. Any issues with road and wind noise inside the cabin?
Thus far no issues inside the cabin with road/wind noise

They just might, considering the Stonic is coming soon as their entry SUV.

Simone! Amelia! Jenny! Love you all...the cars and their impact on me go up and down, but you three are always consistently upbeat and informational.
Excellent - full-sized spare wheel.
Love that laughter at the beginning 😅. Anyway that aside, great review 👍🏾

Where is Jenny?
Just got our gt line and love it 😍 traded our Cerato gt at 72 it was time to grow up.
The average fuel consumption of 7.6L per 100km is roughly 31mpg for us in the U.S. :-)
What a beauty ! She is a GT line !

Is this the MY20 or the MY21? If it is the MY21, what's the difference in comparison to the MY20?
family member has ordered a gt and it will be a my21 but not delivered til november i think this is my20

does the new 2021 seltos GT lines has sunroof?
Is it quite or noisy to drive in GT line???? Can you hear your passengers talking???

I love this car, I would love to buy one but I can not justify 42k for a mini Kia.. :(
presenter is great!
Why Australian kia seltos is bigger than Indian kia seltos
From her intro laughter, I thought it was a blooper.
Great review, Seltos in Vietnam is lack of some valuable options, what a pity :(

Awesome Kia
Badass . Parichay vas
If you want something sporty and fun to drive, don’t bother with an SUV! No matter what the engine is, it’s still a floaty ride.

KIA is a Korean company not Japanese..

Hi Simone
Seltos....DUH
It is a catchy ad!
Simone looks Mariah Carey.
I only watched this to see her and listen to her voice.:)
Am I the only one who thinks that she is damn tall. What's her height 😂
Beautiful hair !
I seen the car and sit inside... Sportage better.. Very basic... Even the GT 😂 not my taste
Overpriced

I’ve had my Kia for 12 years and not had one thing go wrong with it. So I’m definitely looking at a Kia for my next car.
That laugh got me!

Wow, those are beautiful eyes

Obviously not. Creep
This has to be the ugliest Kia/Hyundai product i have seen all year.
This is not a car...its an ugly tank :/
