1:04 not Shure if you noticed but the bmp3 there has the ARENA APS equipped the ARENA APS in black sea will stop any anti-tank weapons except for javelin's and sabot rounds. but one thing to note the system covers 220 degrees leaving the troop compartment uncovered as too not shower dismounting troops in shrapnel
@@TacticsWithJoe a bmp3 with ERA simply can not have the APS installed on it in black sea as it interferes with the turret era so i not Shure what you mean
@@TacticsWithJoe I am completely fine with it, simulations have limits. House interior is completely simulated with internal walls, stairs and holes. Fortified building would have these barricaded or even mined. If we got all of these details, we would blow half of the house anyway rather than try house cleaning. But still, some of the small structures like cottages or big windows convenience stores dont really make me think i would blow up walls or expose myself to enemy cause door is on wrong side.
Note the side armor of any vehicle is near unanimously worse than the front, even with additional armor. Also the thing that triggered the reactive armor is probably, emphasis on probably not a tank, otherwise it would have smoked that bmp.
I had the original game, and all that remains is the manual somewhere around the house. It was unfortunate that with the arrival of VISTA (Crappy MS OS) the company didn't readily make a patch.

The APS seems hit and miss. My BMP got smoked by a standard RPG a few times. I think the ERA is more reliable.

Really like this, would love to see more of it! The on-the-fly, in-the-moment problem solving is very entertaining
Never until now i realized how weird is it that troops cant enter through the windows on ground floor, they are almost as big as door itself.
I'd imagine that there is some sort of design decision behind it. Combat engineers are the lifeblood of the infantry in CM

I am going to test these BMPs in the future. The ERA is cool but I think I am using it incorrectly.
It was barrel launched atgm, at least i think it was.
T64 has one but not tandem.
@robertkalinic335 I should've reviewed the footage a bit more. It was a fast-moving object that's for sure.
the gunners love using ATGM instead of sabot for some reason in BS
