"lho" means south in tibetan pa means " ethnic group of tibetans" many ethnic tibetan groups have names such as the sherpa "sher" means east pa means tibetans, even the khampa "kham" is a region in kham and pa is people we do not say any other people outside tibet with pa because only people with tibetan origin will have a pa on their ethnic group's name.

ADI ETHNIC GROUPS are mainly divided into 3 sections,i.e.(1) upper section inhabitants by BOKAR SUBTRIBE,TANGAM SUBTRIBE,TAGIN TRIBE ,SHIMONG etc ,these are the tribes who got influence with Tibetan cultures and traditions and are inhabiting in Tibet -China.
(2)These section is inhabited by subtribes that hasn't been influenced or disturbed much in their cultures and traditions.This section comes to all ADI INHABITED AREA of ARUNACHAL PRADESH.
(3)ADI peoples that migrated to much lower plains into Assam whose Cultures and traditions were influence by Hinduism and directly converted to hindu,loosing their cultures and traditions .
These sub tribes of ADI are called MISING TRIBES of assam.(MYISING/MISING means,MYI/MI/NI =human being and SI/CHI/SING=PLAIN EARTH AUR LAND WITHOUT MOUNTAINS. SO,
It is term as MISING=people living in plains. )

Humlog ka GREAT TANI TRIBE JO CULTURE AND TRADITIONS ka waje seh ider-uder hoke dis-unity horai for example Tani Tribes found in upper side i.e. Tibet are buddhist/tibetan influenced whereas Tani Tribes found in lower side i.e. ASSAM are Hinduism influenced thats why MISSING tribes put sindur ,wear saari etc and are of dark-complexed because of inter-marriage with bodo,assam,nepali,adiwasi,mia etc (cocktail).
