Sometimes NHAI talks big but don’t pay attention on small things. For example NH 48 between Surat and Amdawad . This highway has been six lanes for many years but there are many small bridges that are only four lanes and clauses bottlenecking and sometimes resulting in accidents.
Why they don’t see small problems and correct them first?
This should have been done when the highway was expanded to six lanes. I am pulling my hair to understand.
Everything cannot be addressed in few years....write about it to the ministry and try to bring their attention to the issue....

No that is wrong. The should focus on joining big cities. This will lead to state municipal departments funding and connecting to those main roads. In big cities there is less scope for improvement because the road space is already used up. The focus there should be for city municipal councils to fund metros and traffic management rather than building new roads.

Rather than Publuc private partnership...Government should talk about Public and Government partnership....i am sure , if Government puts out a Bond issur sort of a thing out for seeking 22 lakh crore...they can easily get 22 lakh applicats ready to invest 1 crore at any given time ..but the terms should be attractive ..rather than just a Bond it should be a partner sort of thing..like a share..only then the wealth 🤑 distribution in Bharat will start to change..else Rich will continue to become richer and poor will be worst

Kam se kam 100 lakh crore rupees chahiye. Ideal would be 140 lakh crore to built the road network. Indian railways need at least 240 lakh crore to rebuild at most advanced standards. With top speed 500kmph and average speed 250kmph.
If the highway is long n wide enough then they could plan n execute solar farm covering that highway and generate power to be supplied to local populace. Ofcourse the right experts should plan , estimate the feasibility then decide n implement it . Make sure locals are trained specially the rural ladies provide them vehicles , tech support and security to maintain the installations. Manage logistics too. Avoid touts and middlemen who might do more harm than good. Basically generate power and employment for semi skilled and skilled workforce mainly women. Empower them as much as possible
