It's surprising that her passport was not impounded when she went to court. In most countries, when someone is tried in court, their passport would be impounded.
The investigating committee should have made many preventions action such as confiscation of passport; limitation on travel - can not travel beyond 20 miles as an example or jail if found to have violated; placed a racking bracelet so 24/7 the government will know where she is at all times, etc.. It really surprised me that these smart people politicians didn’t thought doing such a thing!!!
