I think you should choose the midrange green (I think it said Seaside on the tag) for your upcoming bird stitch. I would try changing just the house colour on the one you are unhappy with. Love seeing your stitching, Jordan.

I live at the beach…if you have any problems getting sand off…use baby powder. It works everytime! I’m watching 1883…Sam Elliot, Tim magraw, faith hill, Tom hanks. It’s addictive! I’m in love love love Moon Garden.
Yes I like the choice of greens for that cross stitch. Which one to use is up to you, perhaps all of them instead of just one, but given the background, a darker colour would show up better. Just my thought.😊
Christmas @ Holly Berry Farm- I think you should keep stitching with the colors you chose, and when you are done filling in the house you can backstitch it in the roof color. I’ve done that several times on projects where I was disappointed about the floss color not standing out, and a little backstitch in a dark grey or brown always does the trick. You might question it even as you are back stitching, but when it’s done and you hold it back, it looks great.
Hi Jordan. Re holly berry farm, I would change the color of the house. It is too gorgeous to scrap. And re the green color I would go with the darker green you showed on the left. It is greener than the other two in my opinion

If you’re close to 50% , I vote for you to continue on and backstitch the house in the same color, but 1 or 2 shades darker in order to help it stand out. It’s looking beautiful and the rest of the colors show well, imo. I’m diving into Christmas in July as well, but I struggle with stitching out of season. I’ve got 300 patriotic, bee and other Summery patterns that I want to work on! The struggle is real! 🥴🤪🤣 Have a wonderful week.

There's a lot of people changing houses to blue or red to suite their needs and I think another color of house would look fabulous there! I'm a wild color choice person, so I would go green or something different, hahaha!

Oh I use everything! Qsnap if I’m planning to leave the project on it for a long time with felt over the stitching, the plastic nurge hoops or my wooden beechwood hoops for everything else!

For the Stacy Nash house, you could do a backstitch down the sides in a light or mid brown, and you’d see the house fine.
My vote is for the Prim Seaside green one. It will be beautiful.
Love your update. For the WIP with the house … maybe add a bit of color to the house like a lighter shade of red that is the border?

For the house, I would either just outline the house, or I would just change the color of the house to a variegated red or a dark green.

Idaho weather is erratic! Ppl move here for our beautiful summers but forget we have 8 months of cold!
I would just change the house color to something a bit brighter or another color entirely that looks good with the rest of the piece.
I binge watched The Perfect Wife too. It’s nuts.
Keep going on the house, but backstitch around it with a little darker color to make it pop.

Prim seaside for Bower Birds for a more vintage look, versus the other aqua, which would pop and be more mid century modern.
I like the left floss; more sage for the bird bower. Can you make the house darker on the mushroom fabric?

I didn’t buy a kit for it, just the pattern and in my head I thought the fabric looked dingy and old but it’s not quite coming out like envisioned
