- Hello friends! Thanks for joining me to see all of my 2024 mid-year WIPs. I hope you like what you see today!
I would be so appreciative if you would like my video and subscribe to my channel. Please leave a comment below or connect with me on Instagram @.stitchysarahreads. Happy stitching friends!
Thanks for the great mid-year WIP parade, you have beautiful projects! Stop beating yourself up on your progress on them, progress is progress and you at least have some stitches in them! Your teacher is showing with how organized your WIPs are!
Thanks Kathy! I do like to keep things organized…especially my craft room and my classroom! 😊
I LOVE how you used small parts of UFO’s and made such pretty things! What a great idea. 👍👍🥰
Thank you! ❤️
All of your stitching is so beautiful! You pick just the right fabric! I love how you create a FFO from the stitches you restart!
Love your videos! ❤️🤍💙
WOW!! I loved this video. Your WIPs are amazing. I admire your bravery in sharing all your WIPs. The fact that you have that many just speaks to your creativity and your need to express it. Never apologize for being creative. I loved this video so much. You inspire me to focus on some of my BIG WIPs which has helped me make good progress. Your fabric choices are absolutely yummy. Thank you for sharing. ❤
What a wonderful video. It was so organized. I loved every WIP you showed. I want to see all of them fully finished (sorry, but I can't just pick one). Sarah don't beat yourself up over how many WIPS you have or the fact you don't have much stitching done on them. The answer to your question about why you do this is because you want to stitch it alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll! Every die hard stitcher loves to start stitching new designs that they can't resist. Thanks for taking the time to share and will be looking forward to all 72 fully finishes!!!!!
Loved your Wip parade, Sara! Your projects are amazing. The floss and fabric is just gorgeous! Definitely gave me some ideas!!!! The Blue Moon project just stays in my mind when I see your progress on it! So pretty! Thanks for sharing your time and talent! Happy stitching!❤️
Thank you for taking the time to show us your wips. I’m glad you showed the bags too. I love pretty project bags. Great inspiration for some fun stitching.
What a great WIP parade!! Your projects are beautiful and I loved seeing them all. I love how you took pieces of projects you decided to start over and created something using what you had already stitched! I must remember that. I can’t wait to see what you finish and look forward to your next video. ❤❤❤
I absolutely love your parade. Love long ones, I got a lot of inspiration from you. Thank you so much ❤
Sarah, this was sooo much fun! I’m amazed that you ironed them all and that you were so organized! Your project bags are also just so amazing at how they coordinate with your projects. Loved watching this - hugs! ❤
Hello Sarah! Thank you for sharing all your WIPS! LOVED seeing them - perfect video to have playing while I canned this afternoon. And you added to my WIP lists - lol!
Thank you for this super long video. I discovered this morning that I had a broken tooth, luckily I was able to go straight to the dentist today, who repaired it. And then I could enjoy watching your WIPs. So extra thanks!
Yikes! So glad you were able to get that fixed. Thanks for watching! ❤️
Such a fun video! Don’t apologize, no one is forcing us to watch! Loved all of your projects ❤
Amazing!!!! Thank you for taking the time to share all of your beautiful wips!!!!! ❤
Wonderful wip parade Sarah! I love all that you stitch! I just love the fabrics you choose to stitch your projects on! ❤
I am re-watching your video. I missed some things so rewatching!! Lol
I LOVED the Bertha Mae Brown. I loved it when it was first shown. I wish they would release it to the public. I keep looking. Haven’t done a sampler like this but this is a special one. You are one of my favs!
Awesome Flosstube. Love seeing all of your WIPS and beautiful project bags. This was so much fun. Saw some charts I need to pick up for myself. TFS.
Such a BEAUTIFUL WIP parade, your company was (and always is) so pleasant. I appreciate you taking the time to share all of your gorgeous stitches and thank you for the enabling. I took copious notes on so many fabrics and charts, so many starts in my future lol. You were great company while I worked on my Mother's Garden by Blackbird. It is actually thanks to you that I was inspired to choose my own pallet and put the colors where I thought they worked best instead of a 1 to 1 conversion or called for colors. So much inspiration 😊 Happy Stitching -Kimberly
Thanks for watching, Kimberly! I love how we all inspire each other to step out of our comfort zones and try something new. 😊
Hi Sarah!
I just wanted to stop by and tell you how I loved watching your flosstube video!! EVERYTHING is super beautiful that your stitching! Love all your bags too! And the patterns that are living in each bag! A girl can NEVER have toooooo many bags right! 😂 That's how I feel about it anyways. I've been a quilter most of my life. So, I've made tons of my own bags. Love all of them! Then when the pandemic hit us all I once again joined the cross stitching community!! I love it! I love stitching! ❤ And adding more bags too! Thank you for sharing all your BEAUTIFUL cross stitching you're working on. 🥳🎉 I'm waiting for my fabric One More Reproduction by BeStitchMe 40 count to stitch His Eye is On The Sparrow...He Watches Me! I LOVE that design by Beth Twist. It will take awhile, maybe a year or two who knows right! 😅 I have many others as well. Thank you again for taking the time to share such a lovely flosstube video with all of us. 🥳💞💞💞 Take care!
Love seeing all of your WIPs! I now have a lengthy list of patterns I want to get.
That was awesome, mainly because you pick such amazing projects! They look stunning. Enjoy each stitch when you get to it.
Thank you Lizzy! ❤️
Thanks for sharing all your great projects Sarah, that was a lot of organizing! Thank you for your time 🙂
Thanks Chris! ❤️
Loved all your projects! Keep chipping away Sarah!😊
Wow, that was fun to watch. Love all of your projects. The bags😮
Thank you for sharing! I love your WIP parades! You have so many beautiful pieces to share and were so organized.
Thank you so much Katie! ❤️
Love your WIP parade! Lots of large projects!
Such a delight to watch all your beautiful projects! You are an inspiration :)
Thank you so much! ❤️
Such a fun WIP parade! So many beautiful projects! Good luck choosing what to stitch on from your select pile.
Thank you! ❤️
Love all your WIPs and bags. Especially loved the round piece of the cabin with stars and moon. You need to ask your mom to make a bag with stars or moons to put it in instead of the nutcracker bag. That might inspire you to pull it out more. I was inspired to go find the nibblers pattern. Thank you.
Wow you have some lovely projects and I love all your project bags. I feel I need to start more projects 😀 lovely floss tube thanks x
Great wip parade. Love your taste in fabric and patterns. You stitches are so beautiful
Enjoyed your WIP parade. I also like The Blue Flower designer and her focus on nature. Lovely projects and impressive bag collection! ~Michele
Thank you Michele! ❤️
Thank you for taking time to do your WIP parade! I enjoyed it so much!! ❤
Thanks friend! ❤️
Love your WIP Parade - lots of stitching goodness!
Thanks Gina! ❤️
Thank you for your wip/bag parade! So much eye candy!
Thanks for watching, Nancy! ❤️
All the hard work you do to put your WIP parade together . . . Love everything. I am grateful you take the time to do them. Thank you! ❤
A great flosstube - I have so many of the same projects and really enjoyed watching you today- Happy Stitching!
Thanks for watching, Bonnie! ❤️
Thank you for sharing the fun WIP parade! I really enjoyed it.
Thanks Deb! ❤️
Great WIP PARADE! Love all your projects. It was fun, thanks.
Thanks so much Sofia! ❤️
I loved seeing all your wips! I love plum street, stash Nash and Teresa kogut so it’s fun to see what you have started! For me, when working on dark fabric, it’s very helpful to either sit outside in the sunshine or in a sun window with the light beside me and something white under my project on my lap. I prefer 28 count so I don’t know if that will help with 40 but it might be worth a try. Happy stitching and I look forward to seeing what you decide to work on.
Great projects and your project bags are beautiful. I got a lot of stitching done watching your WIP parade. 😁. Enjoy your stitching
Thanks Pamela! ❤️
Your project bags on the table is beauty to behold!
Thank you! ❤️
Great WIP parade with amazing projects, I've already watched it two times :D. You did a great job on them. 🙂
Wow, thank you! ❤️
Thanks for sharing. This was my first floss tube of yours that I watched. Loved it I will be back.
Thank you Shanna! I would love to have you as a returning viewer! ❤️
Love love your owl stitches!!
Loved your WIP Parade. I totally didn't mind the length of your video. I'm the same way, dark fabrics are hard for me to see to stitch on them especially at night. Hi Lilly!
Thanks Carol! Lily says hi! ❤️
Loved your wips and all the beautiful project bags!!!!!
Thank you so much Virginia! ❤️
I am loving your fabric choices, bags, and of course patterns and stitching! I have a list to shop for now 😂
Thank you! That’s the danger of a WIP parade! 😂
Oh my holy heck, you’ve got some fun projects going and the bags…oh so fun!
I’m a recovering monogamous stitcher; I have three projects going right now, which is huge for me! I am absolutely changing that, effective July 1st I am participating in my first Jolly July! I am going to have over 10 WIPs and I’m SO excited! Thank you for inspiring me💖✨
Hope you have an awesome Jolly July! ❤️
So many gorgeous projects! I hope you get a lot of progress during your summer break!
Thanks Debbie! I hope so too! ❤️
You inspire me to start more. I have about 5 wips and about 40 kitted. Time to start those kits!
Hi! I absolutely love your WIP Parade! So Much fun and I so enjoy stitching to your videos! Have a great 4th of July!
Thanks Beth! Happy 4th of July! ❤️
Well that was a fun evening of stitching while watching you go through all those WIPs. You were so organized…it must have taken you a lot of time to get that set up for us. I have many, many of the same projects and my WIP count has also grown over the past couple of years. Have you seen the Naptime Stitcher’s plan for the Olympics? It’s a good way to at least put some stitches in on a variety of WIPS.Just keep on stitching!
I enjoyed seeing all your WIPs and project bags. I just recieved a project bag from your mom. It was the beach one. I love it!
Thanks Kathy! I’m glad you’re loving the beach bag you got from my mom! ❤️
Wow!! That’s a lot of WIPS. That would stress me out 😂. I’m sure you’ll get them all done. Maybe not by the end of 2024 but eventually. They are all beautiful. I think I would do the small ones first cause they could be done quicker. Enjoy stitching though…..Have a great weekend. Debbie
It does stress me out, lol! 😂
Awesome video. Such beautiful WIPs
Thank you so much Catherine! ❤️
thank you for sharing, what an amazing WIP parade and bag parade. Like you I need to get back to my Cardinal Kin stitch, it's so small yet I rarely pick it up?! Happy stitching 💗
Isn’t it silly how we let little projects like that linger instead of just working on them? I’ll work on mine if you work on yours. 😉
OMGOSH look at all those beautiful bags!!!!
Right?! 😍
I always enjoy your WIP parades. I didn't see Serenity, (or did I miss it?) I just started that on Mother's Day and I like to follow along on your progress with that.
I had an experience like you. I started a project of 12 monthies on a pierce of Aida. I started 3 inches down and 3 inches from the left. I stitched the border on the left and I ended with 1.5 inches at the bottom. I went to my LNS and they told me their framer could work with the border. Since you go to Paula at Craft Gallery, I'm sure you'll be fine. Happy stitching from Cleveland!

I guess it’s important to measure all the way around and not assume that your fabric is perfectly square or rectangular. Lesson learned! Glad your situation turned out fine!
Two hours of wips !!! Ohhh im so ready 🎉🎉 thank you for sharing all your projects ❤
Hope you enjoy it! ❤️
This was amazing! 😻
Great video - thank you. Plenty of ideas for the future but I need to work on my WIP’s first! Disciplined I can be………..occasionally! x
Can you send some of that discipline my way? 😂
Thank you for the parade!! I love watching your videos. You are so upbeat and positive. Just what I need some days.
Beautiful WIPs in progress. Good thing it’s summer break.such a talented family you , Mom and sister. Going to be a busy holiday with stitching. Good luck in 24 in 24
Loved watching this video, Sarah. You have so many WIPs because you are a creative person, which is why you also make a fabulous teacher! I've been struggling on a cross stitch piece because the floss blends into the fabric. Thank you for telling us that you've restarted some projects for the same reason! I needed to hear that.
I love watching your channel. You do such wonderful work. I love that you have that many wips. I think it’s great. You love everything like I do! Keep up the good work, you will finish them all. Thanks for sharing you stitchy life with us
Thank you Brigette! ❤️
Great video! Enjoy your sweet personality!
Thank you Karen! ❤️
Hi Sarah I love your floss tube you are always inspiring. I still can’t believe you ironed every project before filming 😮 I would love to see you work on the mediation garden and things unseen. I think those two really stood out for me. I would love to stitch them but will have to try and find a pdf pattern as the postal system where I live doesn’t exist anymore. 😢.
I love those two as well, and they have been calling to me. I’ll pull them out and try to get some stitches in them. That stinks about your postal service. I don’t think you can get Things Unseen as a PDF, but check Jan Hicks’ website to see if she offers Meditation Garden as a PDF.
@@sarahsstitchery thank for replying ❤️
Why am I responding to all of your questions like you’re in the room with me lol I enjoyed all of your WIPs and now I’ve gotta go buy some stuff I saw in your video 🤦🏽♀️
I love that! 😂 Sorry, not sorry for the enabling! 😉
Thanks Sarah, this was lots of fun. I loved seeing all of your WIPS and project bags. Janine
Thanks Janine! ❤️
I also tend to focus on new starts and smalls instead of old wips 😂 so I m doing kinda rotation, kinda unspoken rule for myself that for every new start I need to make 1000xs on an older wip. If I love new one so much that I focus on it for more than a week, then I take older wip as my lunch time stitch (basically an hour every day) for as long as I stitch the new thing. I don’t think I can touch all my wips this way but at least the ones I do will get substantial progress
That sounds like a good plan, Anastasia! ❤️
Jamie’s Kilt! They must have been an Outlander on STARZ fan. I love it! The Gentle Arts floss names are a riot!
For sure! ❤️
I also have the 100 owls pattern but I have not started yet. The Cardinal Kin pattern is very fun and fast, I think mine was finished in less then 2 weeks. On the Little Pink Houses pattern, instead of frogging all of that work, why don't you take some of the red from the heart and put in some random stitches to make it look like bricks. I did that on a project several years back and it totally changed the look. Then you could find a different color for the second house. No one said they have to be exactly the same. You can reach out to me and I could explain more. You have a great selection of WIPs to choose from. I found myself randomly responding to several of the questions you asked. 😂😂😂 as if you could hear me.
Sooo much work! What an inspiration!!
Thank you! ❤️
❤❤❤
On your Little Pink Houses change the color and stitch the other house. You might like the 2 different pink Houses. If you still don't like it then frog it out!
Such pretty projects. Spread each project for next 70 days to work a little on each day.
That’s a great idea! ❤️
Hey girl hey! 💟☮️
Hey girl! 👋
I forgot to say, I love the Hawk Run Halloween! I want to do that so bad but I’m not that brave yet lol
It’s such an amazing design, but boy is it intimidating!
❤❤❤!
Loved the WIP parade. Now I have a fee I need to purchase
Thanks Melissa! ❤️
❤
I would put all of the wips on a wheel and stitch for like 3 days and then move on. The wheel will remove the wip. You should be able to at least touch them all
That’s a good idea! ❤️
It seems to me you have set 2 conflicting goals for yourself. You would like to get your WIP count down but you also want to get more stitches into things with very few stitches. Instead you might consider keeping your goal of lowering your WIP count by just stitching on those that are closest to a finish. Leave the other projects until you are comfortable with you WIP count.
Hi woman! 😂
I love your bags any way to get some
I can’t do 2 hours! Sorry!
How do you know what is in each bag unless you open it?
I remember what’s in most of the bags, but sometimes I have to open them to see.
Hello. Can you tell me who makes the Alice in wonderland charts that you have whips for please.
One is from Owl Forest Embroidery and the other is from Pine Mountain.
:O :O :O
🖤🪡🧵🖤
Wonderful WIP parade!! I saw some new to me patterns that are very tempting 😊 Your stitching is beautiful.
Thank you Lisa! ❤️
Beautiful wips and I love seeing bags just as much! I’m stitching Alice in Wonderland by OFE too. It’s so fun! Love all your samplers too!!
I really want to get back to that one soon!
Oh my holy heck, you’ve got some fun projects going and the bags…oh so fun!
