Hi Mark, from you I got to know Uzbekistan is such a beautiful place and people are so humble and friendly, hats off to everyone who are accompanying you. Love from India
Uzbekistan is a country of history. There are lots of old buildings. The ceiling is high and the window has features in each. Sprinkle kebab roast with sprinkle on grilled rice served in a large dish. Grilled meat looks soft and tasty. Beans, vegetables and fruits are both healthy. Every dish and bowl has artistry. The building is very artistic and grand. It is not a mechanically made building, it is the one that puts human sensitivity into walls, ceiling and window. Perhaps not for a short period of time, it has been made and protected for decades and hundreds of years. great.
I love how Uzbekistan people welcomed their guests, food are great especially those fruits, looks very fresh and organic, and the culture are well preserved, and of course those meat are always tender :-)
The architecture there is incredible.. it’s like you can go there and just stare at buildings for hours, seems therapeutic. Food looks amazing as per usual too.. from the fork tender beef and rice to the mung bean soup. Wow.
firmly grasp it To each their own. I take my time to really explore when I travel and if it means looking at buildings for a long time then so be it lol
I agree they are really incredible to examine them for many hours!! And i found them very similar to Blue Mosque from Turkey: img2.tgcom24.mediaset.it/binary/fotogallery/istockphoto/71.$plit/C_2_fotogallery_3084794_5_image.jpg?20171222053032 If we consider Uzbeks and Turks are Turkic brothers and we all believed Tengri (Sky-Blue God) before Islam we can be sure that usage of blue wasn't a coincidence at all! I’ll admit, I had no idea Uzbekistan even existed until these videos by Mark but it seems like a country that is rich in culture, the people are friendly and food looks amazing and unique!
I can tell you even more, it used to be a part of USSR, and people still don't know most of the countries, that it contained. i.e. before war with russia no one in the US or Asia knew about such country as Ukraine. But it also was a part of USSR.
Savi You Don’t blame you for not knowing about Uzbekistan. For so long, it was just one of many “republics” cobbled into the Soviet Union. Since the USSR disintegrated, these countries have been busy finding their footing as independent states. And there were a lot of them that weren’t well-known to begin with even before they became part of the USSR. So kudos to Mark for showcasing these forgotten gems. 👍🏻
I have to bo honest, of all your video, this Uzbekistan tour is my number one favourite~ Easily beat your around the world tour for food, well that's my personal preference hahaha And May Allah always bless all brothers and sisters at Uzbekistan, much love from indonesia
Hello Mark! Watching this in India at 1:10 am on 02-01-2021. The details of food and architecture are taking me back to Mughal History. The founder of The Mughal Dynasty in India, Babur, was originally from a valley near Samarkand. He brought so many elements of his motherland to India - gardens, food, language, culture, and hospitality. All these were so intricately amalgamated in Indian culture and way of life that I felt I was watching the streets and bazaars of my city Delhi, India. Thank you for bringing History alive for me.
Любимый мой город Самарканд, скучаю по тебе 😔 родина моя любимая, ты самый лучший город в мире, а еда просто шедевры, очень вкусно, всем советую разок по бывать в Самарканде 🎇🎇🎇
WOW Mark another amazing video in Uzbekistan. I love how you dont just show the popular spots and foods but you really try to make the experience as authentic as possible. You have put Uzbekistan on our bucket list!
I have no idea which country you are, but what is your intention when passing this type of information? You do not want your country to lose tourists to other countries that Mark shows us. There is no safe place in the world today. In any continent / country / city, the danger exists, to a lesser or greater degree. The best thing to do is inform yourself, and if you are afraid, hire accredited guides to get to know any locality, and have a good trip.

Uzbekistan has a very reach history and culture as other Central Asian countries. There is a big Uzbek community here in Chicago. I have many Uzbek friends and they are some of the nicest people. You should also check out Kazakhstan while you are in that region. You won't be disappointed.
