No need to place your operator into a position where they can gain sp from attacking enemies or having to synergyze with other ops, just place em down and turn your brain off
My word the amount of damage she can do is amazing even to just 1 enemy, but the fact it's AoE and a pull when she better while blocking enemies that's just unreal. I may not be a Guardnights player but Degen bout to make me act up XD Also can we get a moment of silence for og Ch'en 🙏
tbf, my most used operator is ch'en for consistent sp battery and I use other ops for dps. Her being a sub dps in my squad still works for me since I am not keen to play meta most of the time for the past 2 years and most of the strategy when using all meta just made me realize I just have skill issue using meta, but when working at non-meta ops mostly don't waste me a lot of sanity. It maybe because I was playing mostly not meta when I was a newbie, that even I can still finish most of the event with mostly 1st-gen non meta-ops that I learned to love using in my squad. Ch'en was my lifesaver even just a sub-dps to this day, and now with Irene and other swordmaster ops, I mostly use swordmaster as my guard of choice in my squad. She is indeed strong, new op for my squad indeed but I just have to wait for Limited-Limited banners since that's the only time I drop pulls up to 300.
She would be dead af if it wasn't for lumen healing her 900+ with each hit, even with that in one moment she was about to die like 3 times that even the dude on the video panicked a little trying to activate the skill before it was time
the title says "Degenbrecher showcase" getting another operator to assist in the showcase wont be an accurate representation of what she's capable of by herself
Let’s see how they manage to inevitable powercreep degenbrecher like a year from now. HG is brewing up some absolutely diabolical horseshit and I for one cannot wait when the balancing of the entire game implodes, it will be a glorious sight to see
Who cares about balance in gacha games though? Apart from a couple of try hards that is. I for one want her cause of her art design and cool animation. The same reason why I built Holheyak or Lin.
@@akahren1996I mean sure thats a good reason but if we continue to get units like these, the game balance will be ruined. My silverash is barely even able to dent enemies in the newer chapters and events which means I have to bring Mylnar (and honestly as a malenights player it sucks). I love Silverash, but some units have been left behind by this new design that they are approaching. You could say to just use units you like but, if things continue like this then A, the game will become super easy, or B it will get progressively harder making you use "meta" operators. Lately all of these have just been dps statsticks with stuff like Def ignore, True Damage, etc. The ones that are interesting (Ho'olheyak) have their kits botched by Hypergryph or just really underwhelming like (Lessing). You may also say powercreep is healthy, but this is becoming way too fast. She already outclasses Irene who was just released a year and a half ago, she was not even a launch unit like Ch'en. The only reason why I think shes broken like this is because of story reason and being a well liked character.
Not actually The new one is much stronger. Because Irene could only apply knocking up (as CC) to light weight enemies. And she relies on this to do extra damage But Degenbrecher is guaranteed to stop enemies from doing anything(except walking) and the defense ignore

She is fine. After all, she was one of my MVP in Lone Trail.
I think the last stage of displaying her skill should have Warfarin be used instead of Lumen to give a good showcase of synergy between the two
