You are getting it wrong. It's all of AAI(PSU under Govt. Of India ). Your vlog are missing the respect for AAI. This flat is property of AAI. The day you are posted to some other region the flat is automatically is given to other office of AAI(PSU under Govt. Of India)

1) How far is your workplace from your resident ?
2) Have you taken this flat on lease or you are getting deductions as HRA ( for tax saving ) ?
3) Does Chennai have good flats at affordable rates in and around Airport ( New and Old Airport both ) ?
