Jesus, this is way more expensive than I was expecting. The last year hasn't exactly been kind to a lot of people... The one thing I loved about getting into unreal/quixel was even with the massive hit I took, I could still create whatever I want so long as I just put in the time and work. It was practically run on willpower alone. The last two parts I need are the characters(won't cost too much and is basically just more work), and animation which I hadn't looked too much into till I saw this video. This "no barrier to entry" feels like a massive barrier.
These suits are a nice luxury for creating full body animations, but definitely not necessary (unless you're looking to do some kind of live motion capture broadcast or somesuch). There's a wealth of free pre-made full body animations available on places like Mixamo, and a ton of situation-specific animation packs available for iClone (which can then be easily transferred to Unreal), plus I have a feeling the upcoming Metahuman will make plenty of stuff available for the characters. And of course all animations can be modified right down to the fingers in Unreal itself.
@@Jsfilmz When I have a mocap suit that's when the collabs gonna come. I plan to do a remote virtual production with ya to show how we can build a short film by not even being in the same city xD
You won't get any fbx if you do the plus live stream so you will still have to pay. If you do find some way to record the stream it will still not be processed and janky, then you can just get a rokoko.
First of all, sorry for my poor English. From memory you had tested the neuron 3 perception outfit, is the cleanliness of exports as dirty as with a rokoko outfit? I think I also saw a video where you were thinking of buying the manus gloves and the "perception" outfit, did you do it? And have you been able to link the two different brands of tools in your capture workflow? Thanks again for all your videos on the subject!
hey matt workman is doin some amazing stuff with it but if your not familliar with creating your own bp's then stay away from it hahahha. maybe one day it will be more streamline
looks like they took away hd processing on standard version of mvn.. pity also they stoped giving first year free for indie users... mvn pro. also no more half price subscription on mvn pro for indies?
So my honest question is, why would you go for something like this when you have Rokoko, that's like 1/3 of the price. Is the "high performance" version from Xsense miles better than the best version from Rokoko? (A bit new to motion capture suits and all, so just wondering).
Same reason why you'll get a better TV or Computer, more you use it the more you realize what you're missing. XSense has better & more accurate tracking then Rokoko for sure.
Ok i´m not realy into this thema and i Was complete into VR 3 Years Before and no one understood but... PRICE DROP ???? I´ts Expensive as fuuu i can buy every Animation i will ever need for the half Price andlike i sayed i´m not realy Into it but is it so much Better than Blender with xbox cinnect?
I'll rather get a Rokoko, which has a one time purchase for the software, and call it a day. The way my bank account is set up Xsens, ra*ing people with their subscriptions
imagine paying $13,000 dollars for a professional motion capture suit only to be able to export 30 seconds of yourself picking your nose as motion capture LMFAO xsens actual scamaze

20k wow
plus gloves for fingers so yea
At least video to mocap is getting really good. Soon enough all we will need is some cheap cameras and a software license
Thank u just what I was looking for !
No problem!
what is you opinion of vive tracker? the software of xsense is really really expensive is the principal negative point of xsense
hey matt workman is doin some amazing stuff with it but if your not familliar with creating your own bp's then stay away from it hahahha. maybe one day it will be more streamline
Whatever
Future is AI Motion Capture anyway .
This. Look at Cascadeur.
Before buying xsense I would rather buy a good car. they are abusers with such high prices
thei target customers are high end studios im sure, those guys wont have an issue getting these for sure
looks like they took away hd processing on standard version of mvn.. pity
also they stoped giving first year free for indie users... mvn pro.
also no more half price subscription on mvn pro for indies?
dang yea no free 1 year lol im so confused by this price refresh lol

i dont have rokoko. they never got back to me
Same reason why you'll get a better TV or Computer, more you use it the more you realize what you're missing. XSense has better & more accurate tracking then Rokoko for sure.
Fidelity. I have Rokoko suit and it’s decent, but not same level as Xsens. Magnetic interference is key difference.
@@scoutrenegade6761 That's good to know!
yea ive played around with some raw data from xsens jacobus a professional stunt man uses these and the sample file he sent me was amazing
Awesome info!!!! Getting closer to my poor man budget! Thanks so much 😎😎😎

hahahaha yea man i havent used the suit but have played with some of the data is pretty clean but i dont think they have gloves with fingers
Why not just go with the cheapest suit?
Nop!!! Rally expensive. I will use my Rokoko Suit and spent little more time to clean the capture .
Oh ok, so still super unaffordable haha
cmon man u got it buy me one too
Still monster price! but this is the future though BUT what happens TO MY future if I buy it? haha, can't afford that mon/yearly payment.
wait till dji gets in mocap i remember when the gimbals first came out 5k lol nope
What the heck is TH-cam recommending to me?
gotta be a reason....
youtube wants you to buy a mocap suit
I'll rather get a Rokoko, which has a one time purchase for the software, and call it a day. The way my bank account is set up Xsens, ra*ing people with their subscriptions
hahahah nice kevin hart ref bro love it. yes im sure price will go down. DJI needs to get in the action
