Damn, this is dope. Does actor need the that special black suit? I was thinking if those sensors works under casual cloths for example. I just had some green screen video and needed some character movement but I needed footage in their cloths.
So the only reason you need the shirt is because it has velcro on it that you can place the sensors on but other than the shirt its all straps. So if you can find a way to have the sensor stick to your joints you can make it happen. I've seen people put their clothes over the shirts / straps and it looked fine.

For instance, yesterday I was trying to optimize a human skin shader derived from a 3D scan and some of your tips on the topic would have been greatly appreciated ;) No worries, I'll wait :)

Yup I'll be making a lot more videos I'm just about to release another one just doing more test but for my next one after I'm definitely going to look in HD processing 🤙🏿
For disclousure I was given a pair of Manus gloves to use with this suite so those are the only one's I've used I can't say like if other gloves would work better. The manus gloves work fine except for I always had issues with the thumbs but I havent done any mocap with this setup in over a year so it could all be fixed by now.
Nice video thank you Winbush! How would you say the Awinda compares to the Rokoko suit please re performance? Much clean up? I love my Rokoko smart suit pro 2 but I have had so many broken/faulty wires over the years, this looks like a good alternative with no wires!
@@ukmonk yea I know you can call and talk to them to maybe get a lower price but yea its up there. I'm actually just about to have a call with a new AI motion capture company called Radical Motion to check their stuff out from what I know it's free to use so I'll be probably covering that soon
hello i bought the xsens suite , i have a question , do i need animte pro for network live streaming ? or can i do it with the subscription of 1 month motion cloud ???? is it possible with the motion cloud to save my motion into a fbx file and then use blender to get it into unreal engine ??????
do you have / could you share a tutorial on how to livelink from this suit to ue5 metahuman? Ive gone through all the retargeting tutorials and docs i can find but I'm still getting glitches and breaking skeletal meshes. Plus i prefer to learn from you anyway haha
Yea If I'm a be honest I don't really mess with Metahumans they are tough to work with still. I prefere using Character Creator 4 and iClone 8 for my character work much easier to setup and sent to Unreal

@ukmonk it was fine but I haven't used mine in years their software is kind of expensive so once my year was up I never touched it again

That motion looks a little wobbly compared to Rokoko.
I didnt do any processing trust me it's way better than the results out of Rokoko I have more videos coming out soon
