Small rock, a great item that gives a small bit of tears and a very nice damage buff, turned into trash items twice and left behind, how could this get any worse?!

0:17 of course, when you have tears effect that don't care about range like brimstone, you already have high range or you're so skilled that you don't really need range XD
this also works the opposite for things like c-section where range is basically equivalent to your DPS, cause if you dont have a range ignoring modifier, then having low range (unless REALLY skilled), kinda sucks to have.
Though number one also gives a small tear RATE up, allowing you to break tear cap slightly, so in my opinion it just comes down to personal preference and if you can play around the limited range

Dunno. Some trinkets dont get a doubling effect.

it does not, but theres a mod called Trinket Stacking+, which gives alot of trinkets that dont have a golden/mom's box effect, which allows wooden cross to have a chance to regen the shield on room clear

For me the hardest part is just getting out of the early game, so having 1 more item letting me get to the tear cap later on is worth

Also, it would be nice to see if you could ever get Rep+ Mod, a run where you find the item “Angel’s Wings”. Slapping Dogma with its own feathers, godhead feathers and the actual Static Brimstone (does not require Brimstone replacement mod) would be awesome.

I would have taken hourglass 100%, you can peak into item rooms and see if it’s worth taking if not just port out and increase planetarium chance, also of course a free room reroll

personally i think number one should increase fire rate so you can go above the tears cap, since it already has such a big range down
4:07 I use and love Always Boss Rush, Hush, and Void along with Runs Continue After Mother. I appreciate the intended mechanic of it being a timed objective but I'd rather go over my decisions rather than let RNG decide if I'm able to or not ontop of the rest of Isaac RNG. Makes the game much more fun imo.
And incase anyone comes by my comment, Always Ultra Satan is cool too but has a bug with Always Void where it won't count Ultra Satan marks. So I don't use it.

i agree it can be annoying to watch the timer. sometimes i like to backtrack a lot so when i beat delirium hush and boss rush i love taking the character and just milking each floor to the bone
About your boss rush question early in the video, so far I've gotten it once, and I wasn't trying to, I was playing azazel and was just super lucky, and I only just recently got the game and I'm waiting to get a ton of unlocks with characters before I buy repentance, as I currently have up to ab+.
@depressed bones I'm just unlocking characters & getting unlocks with azazel w/ the slightly better brim, also so i can start playing without being too overwhelmed, even though all the tboi vids i have watched definitely made the game easier, though I do have room for improvement. Once I'm done with azazel I'll be getting repentance ASAP, cuz I don't want to get the d6 with this version of ???/blue baby.

4:19 I go at a pretty slow pace too and I cant be bothered to actually make a conscious effort so I use this mod that removes the need to get to boss rush (and hush too).
Other people probably consider it cheating but I don't. I guess it differs from person to person.
