AND the time machine mod (the one that makes the beggar donations go faster). AND the unintrustive pause menu mod.
This is one of my most satisfying tainted keeper runs to date. Ok ignore everything past this point because I wanna shove as many funny item names as possible in here: Early bird's eye and brimstone have such HUGE c section tech x POTENTIAL (even though it's not as good as ghost pepper), although a bit of a change of plans involving sacred heart and a missed opportunity of rerolling items with the d6 made this run a bit more dangerous than it should have been, not to mention holy light's synergy with perfection's 10+ luck which just ended up melting everything I came in contact with. With so many soy milk angel rooms and the combination of godhead and proptosis, including the ipecac (dunce cap) I was basically guaranteed to find sacred heart, crown of light, and many other OP items that made this run a free monstro's lung win featuring edmund mcmillen (who also created super meat boy)... And I'm totally not mentioning these items in the description just for keywords or anything, why would I ever do that? This paragraph is also ABSOLUTELY not copied from another one of my videos but with certain words changed to make sense in the context of this video, that would just be silly. Wow, did you really read all of that? I'm proud of you.
Ok since nobody's gonna read this... I can say that I'm 100% changing my YT username to just "Laven" for 2 reasons:
1. I hate how people mispronounce lavencas, it's supposed to be just like "Lavender Castle" if you remove the extra letters, but a ton of people put emphasis on the VEN which sounds extremely weird to me and annoys me to no end
2. Some of you also seem to think the L is an i but WHYYYYYYY
I was thinking of rebranding to a different name entirely, but that's too much effort and a lot of people would be confused sooooo... yeah. Also fun fact the name lavencas was kind of a placeholder until I thought of something that sounded better, but my channel exploded way faster than I would've ever imagined and by that point it was too late...
Dunno when, but it'll happen (I've been saying this for months lmao)
fun fact: most of the captions you see on screen are synced up to music beats, its a really dumb thing I started doing recently but it just feels... right? takes a whole lot more effort to caption this way but I can't stop now lol

i feel so accomplished, i beat mother, got my first tainted character, and beat the beast all today! it feels like yesterday when i curiously bought this game, i hope that everyone else can play this game like i have and experience it for its true glory

@@a.j.501st All Tainted characters are unlocked by using the Red Key Item and the Red Key Piece consumable on Home with a character. You can make a Red Key piece appear if you leave a Trinket in the Boss or Treasure room and come back during the Ascent.

Btw I just wanna say this again, though I already said this on the last video it’s just funny to know: the actual way I got subscribed to this channel is a while back, I had spilled my water on my phone. I can totally understand the frustration at the name mispronunciation; I personally found the note in your TH-cam about page helpful. I could see you doing a funny bit in a video about how to pronounce it correctly, but changing it would also fix that. Regarding rebranding, I personally find your current channel name unique and memorable -- though if you don't like it, I get the desire to change it. I think some variation on "cas" would be more recognizable than a variation on "laven", especially since that's what you recommend on your twitch page.
That all notwithstanding, the bottom line is that you make great content! I appreciate these videos (especially this one with all of the golden penny smash cuts :P) and look forward to watching more, regardless of what name is attached to it :)

As busted as glitched crown is, sometimes I get tired of using it cuz I'm always picking the same things. Just the most busted overpowered guaranteed win. I'd rather use Damocles so that at least it's still random

I'm pretty sure that there is no fire rate decrease when you have both quad shot and triple shot. If I remember correctly it gives you 2 tears as well

I had a few tainted keeper runs today that were pretty good. One I died because I’m rusty af, and another I died during the hush fight being attacked by literally nothing. I still don’t know what happened in that run.
