I also have both CT and elf , I think I can put up with elf I find a soft brush works well for it , like CT prices is just outrageous, ❤
Exactly. CT is just Soo overpriced that I’ll make the elf one work with a little extra effort to save $100+
Elf makes a duo fiber brush, real techniques has one too. I find these brushes or a looser packed fluffy smaller brush work well for cream products.

Every video I see of people trying the elf Blush, I see it picking up the foundation beneath but the contour is amazing
From what ive gathered after watching a few others test these: the blush seems to apply best if you put it on the back of your hand FIRST, then apply it to the cheeks using a brush..rather than going directly on the cheeks with the component itself.
It took me a couple of tries but once I got the hang of the ELF wand I liked it. I'm fair skinned and not a fan of heavy contour, and most contour shades don't get the grey tones in there.
I'm more of a cream blush girl however.
Yea i just got the elf highlighter wand and i think i need to get used to it because i might have applied too much by accident and now it kind of looks bad when i take off my glasses. Would you have any tips for me by any chance on how to apply better or get used to it?

Dang! I struggled with things looking to orange on my fair/cool/neutral toned skin..... I got the light/medium one but its way to warm me. Going to return for the fair/light one!! I thought it looked too light but didnt realize the warmth difference... this could actually be a winning coutour for me!

Hi!! Thanks for trying to dupe CT, but you do get what you pay for. Every once in a while, a less expensive brand will win, but in this case Elf did not. Would you do another dupe with CT vs Miliania? Since you did like one of their products better, that would be a great video. Also miss seeing Andrey, Emorett and Elodie!!! 💕💕

They always patch up on me. U have to be very careful. I’ve found a smaller brush blends it better
They both look good but elf is more my budget. Also, I live in Middle Tennessee too. I NEED a humidity and heat proof mascara! Help!
I have both CT and Elf in these products, CT wins for me, I won't be repurchasing the Elf wands, they are far too patchy and wear off during the day

Was the line caused by using the light/fair contour first?
The blush picked up the contour when I applied to my cheeks.

I also have CT and while I have not been overly impressed with the items I own, it's 10000x better than any dupe, so far.
I also just purchased the Elf trio out of curiosity, and it was not even a close comparison. If I had not used CT to compare, Elf would just be an ok product.
If you can't afford high-end, like CT, the dupe is fine, and you make it work. Elf is actually good to use as starter makeup, except it doesn't have great longevity.
My impression of dupes so far has been that you get what you pay for!🤷♀️
@H no one is obligating you to buy CT, or other high end makeup. There's plenty to choose from, at whatever price point you can afford.

I'm not defending CT, as I wasn't highly impressed. It isn't bad, but not that wonderful, in relation to the price. I think it's definitely better than the Elf dupes, but I enjoy other brands better than CT, for the same or similar price range.

I quit using most ELF products and am newly into RCM . I dot the 5 star ( pallet) product and I use a brush to stipple and go in with a beauty blender to soften.
There’s no comparison unfortunately. The CT is just better in every way (except the price but who cares if it’s cheap if it looks bad).

I'm disappointed with this launch from elf. It seems half as*ed and poor quality. They are in the pockets of some influences (not you)big time nowadays. They know it will sell out if people compare their products to Tilbury.
