- An overview of the Wuben TP10L TacWriter Tactical Pen. This was a gift from my friend Ohio Guns & Deals (link below). I’m not a tactical pen type of guy, but this multifunction tool really surprised me and I wanted to share it with you. Enjoy!

RUNTIMES:
Low (3 lumens) - 6 hours
High (130 lumens) - 40 minutes
Not bad for a 70mAh battery. 👍🏻
I love my pen. I love that I have a flash light. I will probably never use it as a glass breaker. I wish it had more of a bayonet vs. screw, but beyond that I think it is perfect.

That's a very cool pen, I've bookmarked this one! I think, like you, that the writing ability and the flashlight are the key parts. As far as tactical, I know it's been written "the pen is mightier than the sword," though, I wouldn't bring a pen to a gunfight! :) Thanks for the great review!

Definitely a cool pen.. im not a fan either but I still would like one.. Especially that selfdefense and the light.. What I know about these types of pens is never let anyone use it.. Probably will go missing.. Definitely a great video 🤘
I wasn't a tactical pen guy either. But Amazon said if I added $5 to my order I would get free shipping. So, I ordered an $8 tactical pen by Sminiker. Now I carry it every day.

That’s a good criticism. I usually try to mention price early on and I totally noticed when I watched this video back that I waited til close to the end on this one. I’m slacking! Lol.
Same here...not a big "tactical" pen guy. I have a couple and I carry them....because they are pens...lol. I do like the flashlight aspect of this one. Looks like a pretty good one to have around! I actually have the WE TP-03A right now for review...lol. Will be the first EDC pen I have reviewed on the channel!
I saw that WE pen!! You showed it on SKL if I’m not mistaken and I think I saw it on IG and/or Facebook as well. That think looks awesome! Can’t wait for the review. I love pens in general, so who knows, maybe I will become a “tactical pen guy”, Lol. Cheers 👊🍻
@@GearedTowardGear1 It is a cool pen but a little too much for me as an EDC. I lose them too easily..lol. I'll stick to my Zebra F301 for that!
I hear ya. Mine has since landed permanently in my vehicle. The Zebra 301 and 301 compact are my go-to for EDC.

I've carried a fisher space pen bullet for many years and I always like to have a pen on me this is definitely a cool option excellent review as always
Thanks, Jeremy! I love the Fischer Space Pens. I have one that I carry ocassionally and a few Zebra brand pens that I like for EDC. This one has become a permanent office desk tool, handy to have a pen and a flashlight around, but I haven’t been carrying it. A little too bulky.

Good stuff, I got my wuben pen about a year ago. Overall a decent pen for the money. I bought a pico storage container from CountyComm to hold an extra 10180. My keychain light klarus ti mini runs on the same battery.

I have the olight open2 light that is pretty cool.. i just might get this one to compare them..

Hi. For countries like here in France where it is illegal to carry guns or ANY knives, (I do carry knives of course, lol) this would pass under the radar and not be noticed. Until you use it for defence then it becomes a weapon and the user is a criminel. Carrying anything you intend to use to harm someone means it is premeditated crime. (even if only used in defense). So use it and run. Lol. That said, a super useful tool as a backup as you say. I noticed that the light has a clip that could be fixed to the bill of a hat, very good. Pen style lights are common so this would be unnoticed. Ali in all, great review of a product i want to get my hands on. Sorry about the lengthy comment. Good health and stay safe.
Hey man, I enjoy the lengthy comments. So in France you are not permitted to carry any knife at all, even something like a small Swiss Army knife? That’s a shame. In that case then something like this could be a good option. Cheers Rhino!
@@GearedTowardGear1 yeah, laws can be stupid sometimes. The "bad guys" don't give a damn anyway so it is the honest that suffer. Knife crime Here and in the uk is usually commmited with dollar store kitchen knives not expensive tools. Premeditated defence is illegal because you have the intention to harm. Stupid. Most men carry a pocket knife here. A laguiolle or opinel or sak at least. Even with bare hands, if you hurt the aggresor more than he hurts you, he can attack you in court, and that goes for home defence too. Ridiculous but thats the way it is. All the best

I think that is a pretty good deal for a one and light combo but that actually has a glass breaker/ impact tool. I thought you were going to say 70 or up on the price. 30 is a deal. My question is how long does it claim to last on each setting?? I am not a big fan of tactical pens because yes they have a pocket clip like a normal pen they are usually so large the only way the clip would work is in your pants pocket instead of the shirt pocket where pens normally go. So does this fit like a typical pen or not?? Really glad you showed this Sean. Hope you have a great night and great day tomorrow.
Yeah man, this one would not work well ina shirt pocket. A bit too heavy and the clip makes it ride a bit high. The runtimes aren’t terrible actually. You’ll get 40min on High (130lm) and 6 hours on Low (3lm). Cheers brother.

Lol, I try to keep things organized, lol. I’m a little OCD. There’s not much at all actually, it feels quite secure. It’ll wiggle just a hair, but it feels secure.
Great job showing how well it lights up the garage. This is what I was wondering. The next thing I'm wondering is what refills will this pen take? If I'm carrying one I am using it a lot... Just need to know it can be refilled easily.

Someone needs to make one with a retractable pen tip so you don't have to untwist it and flip it around to write with it. I would rather have that and keep it in pen mode, which is still fine for a self-defense application, and then have to flip it around for the glass breaker. I don't think the glass breaker should be the default. I do have one with a retractable pen tip but it has no glass breaker.
I don’t own a tactical pen, I have a zebra and looking at fisher or a pokka...but that has more options then the tactical pens I’ve seen ... interesting

Lol. Yeah that was an impromptu and unplanned “shit” bomb. But I stand by my statement, lol. This is a dedicated vehicle pen for me now. I typically carry a Zebra 701, 301, or 301 Compact. I do have a Fischer space pen and it’s not bad. If you scroll to some of my earliest videoes I did a whole video on EDC pens. They’re almost all Zebra brand.
