  • Is it possible to find a budget tv below 3000 AUD at 75" that can do 4K120?

Surprised the Sony x90j didn't make the list, fixed the half res problem from x900h, VA, 2 Hdmi 2.1 ports with VRR. Its not the best TV but there aren't many 4k120 TV options to choose from. I have no idea how LG keep selling their nano IPS panels year after year.
The qn85a has insane SDR brightness which is good for bright rooms even if its also IPS. If you can negotiate 900 off it damn. Personally I'd never buy another IPS and go without a TV + save a bit more for a Qn85b which also has 4 Hdmi 2.1 ports this year.

Yeah I already negotiated prices before I listed the TVs :) so I know they can get under $3000.
The Sony 75” X90J is something I overlooked, but generally I avoid Sony TVs when it’s gaming related. They have kind of proven it’s not high on their priority list.
Have you had much hands on time with it for gaming? It’s a good point. Good price.
And correct. Aren’t many options that do 4K120 in the budget and size constraints

Any feedback on the TCL C825? Is one of the few budget options in Aus but almost no reviews as not the same as the US model.

I have had really bad experiences with TCL Australia.
Horrible, they treated me so badly in the past I am so turned off by as a result.
Perhaps when the 2022 TVs arrive I’ll look into getting a unit to review.
Because I’m still a small channel no one is willing to send me review samples. I have to purchase them all myself.
