@@ViktorRadoslavov yeah, the piano is the star, but the orchestra is a little left behinf that's why. I mean in my head I'm comparing it to Rach, so that might be a little unfair
@@4ss4ss1n5 Ok, compared to Rach, yes the orchestra is a bit in the background. It often echoes the piano motifs and serves as a background operator, compared to, for example, Rach's infamous 2nd concerto, where the orchestra and piano are cohesively portraying the story and emotion. However, and it is a big however. In the context of Chopin and Romantic era, his concertos are peak piano composition in my opinion. Yes, there is the caveat of "yea but if you ignore the orchestra its really good" which I will agree defeats the purpose of a concerto. (But I will never argue Chopin to be the best composer, period. But I will argue for him being the best piano composer). The notes written for the piano are such interesting and complex ideas that I just can't help but idolize them. Even though the orchestra serves its basic and there aren't mindblowing melodies coming from it, to me they are still peak Chopin.
Gidi we need the following nocturnes from Chopin: Opus 48 number 1 in C minor; Opus 55 number 1 in F minor. I'm sure you'll love them 100%. Also don't forget the waltzes I mentioned a few videos ago

Facts
I think Chopin really hit the nail in the head with his first nocturne. It's definitely one of my favorite ones, (favorite is op.48 no 1) and it's also pretty fun to play.

There are 2 nocturnes in C minor. One of them is Posthumous, and some people used to say that the manuscript was forged. It's beautiful.

Op 48 n 1 is my favorite, and I actually played it for my piano exam this year! It was a bit above my level because the last section is sooo hard, but I was so motivated to play it because it's so beautiful.

So for the first one you listened to (op.9 no.3), it is in a A-B-A structure! (B major-B minor-B major). If you want to see how it was possible, I recommend you to watch SeeMusic’s version of it. It is in synthesis form (you can see lights of the notes fall down from the top to the keyboard on your screen!)
If you like these nocturnes, you maybe like the ones from John Field, an Irish composer, predecessor of Chopin. The best of his nocturnes are the numbers 1, 2 and 18.

Same here, I feel very related to Chopin, and by the way this is not something new as Oscar Wilde the great English poet once said that when he plays Chopin on the piano he feels someone else’s sadness and sentiments that are not his own ! I think Mr Wilde has summed it up !
