Sick tone! This In Flames era has the best bass tone imo (at least for my ears). You nailed both, the song and the tone. I'm shocked that this is a plugin. 🤘🏽
Didn’t ruin the saddle of mine when I did it. I’m using a scepter legend 5. Straight from E standard to drop a#. Needed a bit of intonation adjustments but it plays and sounds perfect. 65-130 strings
• Bass tuning : A# F A# D#

Hey Rufus. Quick question. With the tuning about the F in the tuning, is it tuned up from E to F or an octave lower to f from E?
@@Wilems the F in this case is +1 semitone from regular EADG’s E (hope this answers your question 🙌
@@RufusMann Oh cool! That's good to know. I will probably try out the tabs once I get a 5-string bass
One of the the first In Flames songs I came across. Dirty tone, love it!

Is there an opition to tune your bass to drop A# with thinner strings without it sounds crappy?
I don't wanna ruin the saddle of my bass.

How the hell you get to those tunes in a 34' scale bass? i have tried it and the strings just dances and the fretting is horrible
See the description: "String gauge : 130-105-86-65" This means that the bottom four strings of the 5-string bass are used.
@@tasasaki i did the same with my warwick
Sounds like you’re a very hard hitter 🙈
@@RufusMann LOL YOU KNOW IT RIGHT LMAO
It is definitely floppy on a 34" bass. But not impossible. You need to work on your technique to make it work
