The actress who voiced Katha Niar did a fantastic job.. I replayed this recently and her death really struck me hard.. she believed so strongly in the empire, fought so hard, took a beating and an interrogation, then never lived to see how strong the empire would become.. the voice actress did amazingly voicing her last words "I would have liked to see drommund Kaas again" she knows she's going to die but the heartbreaking thing is she never lives to see her sacrifice pay off
Darth Marr is so ridiculously epic... Pretty much owns the entire imperial fleet as his power base. I thought I was a boss with 3 ships, he practically pisses out battalions.
From the "Annihilation" novel: the ruling triumvirate is Marr-Mortis-Vowrawn. The Inquisitor doesn't have any real influence yet (makes sense, considering that she just got appointed). Problem is, neither Marr, nor Vowrawn want to actually rule, so the role may fall to Mortis, who is the most amoral, opportunistic bastard on the Council.
That music at the very end was brilliant. Some music in this game just makes me pause and want to listen more to it, one area I think Bioware has done exceptionally well at
Darth Marr is actually pretty awesome. When you choose the first option, *This presents an opportunity*, he says he does not care about ruling, all he wants is to be on the battlefield.
I would love if they could put in where as sith you can have a look at your own ships turn into fleet or take over a planet of your sith's choices that's not beyond your fleets capabilities. But it seems unlikely.
The Emperor isn't dead. The Hand are simply keeping the council in the dark, most likely as part of the Emperor's plan to make the Republic bold, and overconfident. But he is most definitely alive and recovering from the battle with the jedi knight. But I am looking forward to seeing Mar's leadership in action, and the possible return of Malgus.
I've always liked Darth Marr the most out of the people on the council. He isn't the definition of "evil" like most of the council. He's more of a "ruthless calculus" kind of guy.
you did that fight a lot faster than i did on my sniper, i just burned through him and didn't pay attention to the generators XD, turned out fine though
Now that is an ending to be relished. It would have been better see my own character in the end aboard the star destroyer gazing into the void, however.
I wish they took a different direction from there instead of going into the eternal empire arc, would be great to continue the original conflict on Marr's side instead of turning into a rebel faction and then back to the original-faction-but-not-really situation as The Hand
love the battle you had there and the outfit you was wearing, on my sith inquisitor I have the cartel market outfit on as well, I forget how it spelled but I have the whole set, the armor and mask that has the same name.
All stories are canonical and thus cannot contradict each other. Huge, game-changing decisions are impossible to implement, unless you double or triple the costs (in time and money) of production. That's why most quests lead to the same conclusion (with some minor dialogue and contextual changes). Not to mention that BioWare no longer have the resources to create personal storylines - thus Makeb's shared questline.
You need to be full member (not free 2 play) or you can buy it on galactic market.. but if you are f2p then you got a problem, because authorizations and other things to unlock cost like 300k - 2 milion credits
The republic fans can talk all they want, but from everything we've seen, the empire gaining, controlling and attacking, i have a feeling they will win this thing.
Don't bother playing this mission if you're a Sith juggernaut. Its impossible. And don't bother asking for help or looking for it since anyone who has beaten it will either say 'learn to play your class' or just be a smartass and say 'its easy'.
The Revan Theme in the end tho such a great hint on what the next enemy is
I find Darth Marr oddly worthy of my respect.
Darth Marr is what the sith should be

Is it just me, or does she sound like Lana Beniko? Might be the same VA.
@@sambridgers9543 Her name is Lydia Leonard, and she is indeed Lana Beniko's VA.
@@Tibis42 I see.
Why did he had to die? Most awesome character on Empire part
My god that was an awesome ending.
Darth Nox and Darth Marr, partners forever!
***** Neutral
@ShadowSamuel So a dark Inquisitor, is the Darth that Nox?
😀
I apologize, but my head just exploded from all the awesome.
it's ok :)
(Grabs hose and rag for the walls) Here let me get that…
the jedi strike time only defeated the "voice of the emperor", his personification while he is somehere else.
it's the ending of the song called "the occupation of balmorra"
Darth Marr is so ridiculously epic... Pretty much owns the entire imperial fleet as his power base. I thought I was a boss with 3 ships, he practically pisses out battalions.
All hail Darth Marr the new emporor of the sith!
emperor not emporor sorry
most bad ass sith
darth marr to rule the empire
get ready republic fangirls
the empire strike back
***** Jadus is a Sh!t
@@BryanBRAIT96 he's a sneaky shit
@ShadowSamuel Well both of them are badasses

I'm really starting to love Darth Marr. In a future expansion, I hope he becomes the new Emperor.
F
Boy I got news for you!
...who gonna tell him..
The ending is just perfect, that jedi robe looked a bit awkward thought.
Darth Marr for emperor! :D
This is a surprising ending for playing on the ''evil' side, this shows that the Empire also mourns its victims.
Ending is sooo bad ass

Long live the Sith Empire and her Emperor!!!
What a rad ending with Darth Marr!
You did the right thing in sparing the people of Makeb, but you could've easily had the Archon arrested.
I would love if they could put in where as sith you can have a look at your own ships turn into fleet or take over a planet of your sith's choices that's not beyond your fleets capabilities. But it seems unlikely.
"I'm sorry, Thanaton....."
*neck snap*
Good riddance to him
"He was a better Sith than you give him credit for, Ravage."
this game is awesome
I haven't decided yet... it's possible to think of something
Even though it's just video game assets, that ending was amazing cinematography
Darth Marr is too epic for his own good *fangirl mod*
we're getting isotope 5
best expansion evar, I think that if they make more like this the game will be rebirthed... also sad face for that poor agent who died :(
not always but sometimes - yes
it's true, he seemed more powerful and influential than Toborro himself
I'm hoping for some involvement of his in the class stories too
indeed, looked awesome
that's a pretty major thing, I don't imagine it will happen soon
Awesome video, gameplay was cool! Good Job on Makeb! Can't wait for my character to go to Makeb.
everything is options from the in-game menu and the interface editor
I made the mistake of being in a group with a lowbie when I fought the Archon, so I had to face the champion version alone. It was a bastard.

I was rendering other videos so I was unable to record the last session ...
glad you like it and gl
It's odd hearing my Inquisitor's voice coming out of a completely different face. And you'll have someone's eye out with that shoulder pad.
You're like, huh? An Anti-hero of the sith
Bioware stated that they will not continue the class quests and focus more on group content.
it's a good theory, I'd like to see it or a variation of it happen
We know that from the Sith Warrior's story. Come the SW story, and the emperor is already looking for a new Wrath.
Really want to know the song track at 12:03
the occupation of balmorra
Ma man!
Darth Marr is the only hope for the empire he is the only sith willing to sacrifice himself for the empire as a whole.
I've always liked Darth Marr the most out of the people on the council.
He isn't the definition of "evil" like most of the council. He's more of a "ruthless calculus" kind of guy.
The sith emperor isn't dead he is simply healing himself
someone already commented that he supports Poena as the new Emperor :} it's not a bad idea...
you did that fight a lot faster than i did on my sniper, i just burned through him and didn't pay attention to the generators XD, turned out fine though
I am but after a 2 week semi-break
I was really hoping when I played the jedi knight there'd be a moment where I could dunk on the empire in the press call.
Now that is an ending to be relished. It would have been better see my own character in the end aboard the star destroyer gazing into the void, however.

Vitiate is NOT a Darth - he was never conferred the title. He is a remnant of the previous Sith Empire, where the Darth title did not exist.
love the battle you had there and the outfit you was wearing, on my sith inquisitor I have the cartel market outfit on as well, I forget how it spelled but I have the whole set, the armor and mask that has the same name.
malgus is dead and the emperor aint far behind the hand is protecting whats left of him so he can die his way.

It was the tier 1 pvp armour at 50 prior to 2.0 idk if there are any more sets floating around
yep it was well done
6:44 Archon, I've come to bargain
Love the fact you can heal her
Malgus is dead. You can actually strike him down now instead of just knocking him over the edge
I feel like the end theme wasn't picked at random ( shadowing the return of Revan )
I don't think bad ass is the way to describe him I say he's beyond bad ass.
what is that? sounds like a cartel market unlock
Only a matter of time until they make the level limit 60 and another planet.
08:40 Cool, she dies no matter what. Now I don't feel so bad for choosing "leave her to die"
Thank you.
cartel market set
I made it in vegas pro
it could be, but I hope there will be a good reason to fight her ;]

I wonder if on a later dlc you get to fight satile shan on empire side as a flashpoint.
The republic fans can talk all they want, but from everything we've seen, the empire gaining, controlling and attacking, i have a feeling they will win this thing.
Emperor ain't dead....but if he really is Darth Marr for Emperor!!!
the emporer isnt dead, proof is because the wookieepedia says he died in 67 BBY
to gain light side points for my intentions :}
Here's an idea the emperor uses Marr as a host body.
The Emperor actually could return, but Darth Marr is the leader of Imperial Military.
from your lips to to bioware's ears ;]
Wow, they finally fixed Marr's robe........
Don't bother playing this mission if you're a Sith juggernaut. Its impossible. And don't bother asking for help or looking for it since anyone who has beaten it will either say 'learn to play your class' or just be a smartass and say 'its easy'.
Oh, come on, that's just as much Star Wars tradition as Kirk chasing poon is a Star Trek tradition.
Man, Marr should have been on a Harrower, not a puny little frigate...
I am curious what's the name of the armor that Marr is wearing? If anybody knows.
No, just trying the archon fight with level 45 gear was a little.... difficult
or Ravage.. that would be interesting to see.
Darth Marr has a new toy - if I'll see it destroyed by one missile sent in a tunel, I'm going to puke :P
so is makeb gonna effect cedonia in some way like a her starting sense what distubring felling poena was
A basic-talking hutt?! Epic!
my best chac is a jedi guardian level 31 called Knöxx
Does your toon have a lisp on the very first sentence? its sounds like " I found our mithing people"
oh....... im gonna watch Brigth eyes now
apparently the voice actress was in a bad mood during ROTHC ;]
HOW THE FURK DO YOU USE THE FUEL RODS
A Hutt that speaks English that is unexpected
Do you think Marr will be the new emporer?
