Slightly surprising to see the Thames Works for You sales promo there - were they struggling for ads at this stage? Can remember Yorkshire and Tyne Tees pimping bargain basement deals on C4 airtime, but surely ITV in London was a different proposition.
ITV have sold Battle Beyond The Stars to the BBC. BBC has shown it twice in the last few years. Was that the TV premiere, beating in mind the film was theatrically released only in October 1980...?

ITV probably were in a bind, because Channel Four was their main competition for ad space, and even they struggled during their first year.
