Come and join us on our Travel day to Orlando, Florida!
We flew with British Airways from London Gatwick and arrived into Terminal C at MCO.
We checked into our hotel, The Rosen Inn International on International Drive and then made our way to ICON Park for dinner at Ole Red.
The next day we had breakfast at Denny’s, went to IOA and then watched the Mardi Gras parade at Universal Studios, all followed by an amazing dinner at Chili’s!

We're leaving on the 8th and returning home on the 24th. Our HHN are 16th and 17th and MNSSHP is on the 10th
It's nice to have a 'fixed' after arrival routine 🙂 For me, it's being picked up by my friend (he's usually waiting for me when I get off the plane), drop my luggage at his place, change into something more comfortable and suitable for the local weather, then relax for a bit before we're going out to Waffle House for some food 🙂

Hey! Thank you so much we both really appreciate that 😀 so initially we bought the 14 day pass that you can buy through the various sites and when we got to the gate, you go to the guest services desk (I think you have to do this before you use it for the first time) and you can upgrade those tickets for whichever annual pass you want. I think from memory, it cost us a further $45 dollars each to upgrade to the lowest which is a great deal as it allowed us to do multiple trips for the next year without us having to pay for tickets so it makes things much cheaper in the long run! 😀 I do think the upgrade prices vary slightly from day to day
we took the bus to out hotel (same as you btw) bus is so cheap there and it stops at the rosen inn. not at the side where the lobby is but still.

Florida has a lot of St. Augustine Grass. The grass has to tolerate the sun...heat and humidity. The blades are wider than those up North. The grasses from the North don't grow great in Florida.

Technically st augustine grass is a weed which is why it can tolerate the conditions
