All we hear is “wins are not a QB stat” as a way to minimize what Lamar has accomplished. Yet, his playoff record is the first thing brought up to put him down. Make it make sense. They don’t talk about the consistent injuries to his best support players. They don’t talk about the fact that he was in the FIRST YEAR of a completely new system. No context ever. And with that, early in the season you had SAS, Shannon and others saying he wasn’t worth his new contract. YET he finishes the season first in the conference and wins another MVP. MEANWHILE… other QBs who have accomplish far less leap frogged him in pay, and NO ONE is questioning the decision. It is INsane.

The thing with Peyton too is he had two hall of fame wide receivers for a large part of his career. Yes I would say that mark Andrews is a possible hall of fame quality tight end but without good wideouts he gets double teamed a lot. I’d say nearly every play he gets double covered to an extent. If one of our wideouts can beat one on one coverage this year consistently it will help Lamar out tremendously. Josh Allen is a great quarterback but you can’t tell me Hollywood brown or zay flowers is a better wide receiver than Stefon diggs.
