I work for a card shop in Atlanta. I have personally opened 7 boxes of this product. I have pulled 2 1/1s, Alan Velasco base auto and a Chicharito base. Have also pulled 3 Goat Messi cards and zero base Messi. Every box has had 1 auto and 2 relics. Just my experience so far.

i was in a random case break and missed the messi spot by 1 and we pulled a base /25 only one ive seen so far

I opened two hobby boxes and got one of the landscape version of Messi base #201 in the first box . I got a Pearlers in the second box I opened.
They pulled the switcheroo on the base/insert

I've got the base 1/1 on ebay currently. non auto or relic tho
Annoyed they held up this set so long because of Messi. The league is deep in the playoffs already
And if I'm correct, he's only in the base cards. I read the checklist and I don't think that I noticed him at all in the inserts or autographs. Going to be a bit of hype for not much action.

Depends on your needs and whatever is most comfortable for you. Topps Chrome will make those harder to move

Yeah sometimes they don't include players due to rights/licensing issues
