Some folks here quite obviously have a very nasty animus. Elsa Puppolo may not play ath the level of her two genius Argentine compatriots, Marrtha Argerich and Daniel Barenboim BUT SHE IS VERY, VERY GOOD. Why all this nastiness? Envy perhaps???
Probably because the performance was bad. She plays too atempo, no emotion, mistakes were made although I understand, she is old, was there even a pedal cause I barely heard it, and the lack of sound. It just sounded key bashing for me :/ you can hear unnecessary loud parts, and barely heard some soft ones. The point is all the lessons, which were just pointing the obvious things already in the score, and it led to that kind of playing? No offense but it really was disappointing. And no, I can't play it better, but compare this to other performances it's verrrry different.
byambarebyambare because this is an etude. Meaning it’s a practice piece. It is ment to teach you a technique and if you are doing redistribution’s, you fail the whole point of learning the piece, which is to make you a better pianist.
If I win the Lottery, I'm going to hire a translator and fly this woman in every day to teach me.
Same here
Shes bad
I'm afraid to say she passed away not so long ago this year :(((
@@juandiegofigari7010 aww that’s to bad, did she at least reach a good age? Or did she pass at like 77?
I hear she is died
Now I know the first run is ascending it's made such a huge difference to my playing. Thank you so much!
I bet the 20 dislikes are from people who can’t understand Spanish....
Or read subtitles
Or even have an ounce of talent to approach this piece
I like the sound of your piano 😍
She is amazing.
Bravo! Straight to the point! Thank you!

It's amazing how somebody stating the obvious counts as a masterclass or lesson and that there are then people who thank them for it.

Elsa Puppulo (1933-2020).
How I get Elsa puppulo to see mi version of etude opus 10 No.10?

THESE are the real "transcendental etudes"...
What does transcendental mean?

Hyperanalysis. Bah.
What a joke. Elementary analysis, then she's doing redistributions that one should not do in a study. And when she plays - what a mess!
jaspernatchez ....just curious, why shouldn't one do a redistribution you refer to?
Continue playing Czerny.

Sorry my English is not good enough. What do you mean by saying "doing redistributions"?
@@cheerilicious basically playing something written for one hand with the other to make it easier
the performance is actually pretty bad...
mat boivin are you mad broo
I agree , the performance was OK
The performance was far from OK. It wouldn't get her into a decent undergraduate program.
not the chords
Ok guys, so post a video playing this etude and I will agree. Turds.
