Love Christine's passion for children from challenging back grounds who can't get a break for a good start, she would be a great advisor for the Coalition's policies on the camps for kids.

Teachers' Union: We've been doing this teaching stuff for years and years and we know what we're doing. And the performance stats prove that. Yeah right.

Christine was my boss back in late 90' early 2000's when i worked at winz lol, i relocated to oz back in 2002, the work opps and $$ is so much better here, the cost of living and cost of housing is cheaper, plus there is more access to a wide range of sport to keep us busy.

Cracking down on gangs in nz will not end to well, firstly they need to build more prisons fir the initial fallout from cracking down firstly.. and then have the employment/ opportunities available for the gangs members as part of the rehab/ healing process. There is no point cracking down if there is no alternative for them to go to.

Who wants to employ crims, not many! I wouldn’t, make your bed then lie in it….rehab, healing process. Pink , fluffy and naive.

Great chat Ladies.Just a comment on auzzis not liking us and giving us a hard time, accents sheep jokes etc. That actually means they do like you.If an auzzi work mate is not giving you the theropy thats a bad sign.Give the theropy back with a smile, snadpaper cricket ball tampering comments etc.I have found them to be more vocal versions of us kiwis and generally totally friendly and easy to get on with.

Wow, the bias is strong with these two 😂
There is little evidence that charter schools worked that well the last time.
Also, why are we going to fund a private school?
We may already fund some private schools but I'm not sure that we should.
If they can't stand on their own, they probably shouldn't be in business.

WE find lots of private stuff here. In education to stay in the lane, ECE is private but it is funded. So that is not really an argument.

Like normal someone is getting a kick back as it seem like the norm in government & local government these days.
Never focused on the benefit of the country. Those schools are just a band aid as our complete education system need ripping down & starting fresh.
They are just currently dumbing down our kids as we have been shown over the last decade or so. The way to fix the problem is train a shitload more teacher & cut our class size to 15 pre class so a teach has time to help everyone within that class. Plus have a group of specialist teaches in each school as this is one of the best investment a country can make in itself EDUCATION OF ALL.
