A family friend of ours had an 80 Z28 which is almost a dead ringer for the 81 Z28 kit.. so put that one on my wish list as well as the Boss 351,442 and 85 Z28!!
Those Z28s will be nice stablemates for the 4 Camaros I've already done (1.JEB LTD 69 SS 396,2.Revell 69 Z28 RS,3.AMT 70 Z28 and 4.06 Camaro prototype)..

Oh man! I can’t wait to get my hands on that new Mustang!! I wish it was a Mach 1 with a 429CJ instead of the Boss 351. Don’t get me wrong, I love the Boss 351, but that’s a kit that AMT has been giving us for years! I know AMT has finally turned it into a Mach 1, but other than the decals, it’s the same old kit! I don’t understand Revells logic. The ‘81 Z-28 is cool, I’ll be getting a couple of those. The ‘71 Cutlass hardtop, if it’s as nice as the ‘72 convertible, will be nice to have. Thanks for showing these to us Tim! You still have the best channel on TH-cam!
The Porsche, Cobra and the GT40 are reboxed Fujimi kits. The GT40 has been in the wild for several months now and I guess Revell just cleaned the tooling and repopped them. Which has me worried because the Porsche was not a good kit. Either way, I'm excited for almost everything on display there.
The '71 Boss 351 looks like it could be the best 1:24/1:25 scale Mustang kit ever, can't wait for a couple of copies. The '32 Ford is a huge improvement over the Stacy David car, never was a fan of that car or the man himself for that matter. The "62 Cobra 289" is a bit confusing, the 289 didn't come out until '63, and the box art shows the wider 427 body work. No idea what this kit is supposed to be, maybe an FIA car? I guess we'll see.
Old molds never die -- they just get repopped. The original Cobra had the 265 V-8, quickly replaced bt the 289. That kit was produced by AMT. The Monogram Cobra 427S/C was new in the '80s and had great tires and spoked wheels that would had the hubs spun out by that motor. The 2 cars were completely different except for the general shape -- chassis, engine, driveline. And while the GT40 is probably ex-Fujimi, the Porsche 917K is a mystery to me. It can't be the ex-Heller kit because it was horrible.

It will be hard for the hobby to have new younger people interested in models at prices way more that the $2.00 kits I bought in my youth. Then the diecast for $25 all built & painted will capture the most economical way to have a vehicle on the shelf. I bought my last kit. The AMT garbage truck I waited for since 1972. I see lots of Revell Monogram kits at the German market & most will never see USA. Sad that besides the expensive kits. My hands are not working as they used to. I can get new glasses to see the parts & assemble. No replacement or fixes for 65 year old hands.

I have a 4-4-2, they did a very nice job on it. I do wish, however, they'd use the better European packaging and decal sheet for the American release. It makes no sense to do that. I do wish they'd put the stock parts back in the Silverado and do a 2-jn-1 if need be.
