Your service writer needs a refresher course on asking the right questions to the customer when they write up the work order. Nice you have a known good TIPM in your tool box!
The horn relay is built within the TIPM... Same with the fuel pump relay (same part number).
I couldn't stand to watch anymore than 30... I will never ever get those moments back
Who cares what you can't stand? If the video didn't work for you simply keep it moving dude. This aint the airport, theres no need to announce your departure.

Sometimes as a flat rate mechanic, substituting a know good part is the fastest way to eliminate what the problem isn't.
So you need to replace a part that you know is good before you can eliminate that the problem isn't the good part. Do you avoid replacing known bad parts because you are busy changing known good parts? Or do you change all parts good and bad?
As soon as the horn starts going off and the guys just like oh yeah wait , hold on, hold on, hold on, what’s going on .

Molar is junk my 08 wrangler is that and worth, just pull horn fuses, and when it acts up beat on the module box, it works, till another time 😅
He Went to get plyers to remove a fuse. The fuse puller is right next to the pink 25 amp fuse infront of the yellow tab block right in front of his eyes. lol

Not exactly, the horn switch goes to the PCM and it's the PCM that controls the TIPM. The horn relay is integrated into the TIPM
I’m getting a u0184, radio is dead and my jeep commander will only start when the camshaft sensor is disconnected. Please help
I had the exact same issue, horn will stay on, I replaced the fuses, had replaced my steering wheel with one used and only spent $25, problem solved.
I have a problem with my nitro cause Everytime I tried to start, it’s starting to honk and move wipers and light blink, doy you think could be the same problem?
Question I have an 2002 Ram 1500 just replace the ABS module and have to initialize the new one got any suggestions my Autel scanner will do my 2014 JK but no go on the 02 Ram. Called the local Dodge Dealer and they said they only go back to 06 Ram for ABS initializing. That dinging is driving me nuts I unplugged the 10 amp fuse for the module and it then turns on the brakes lights 24/7. Unplug the speed señor on the axel and no speedo. Trying to find someone with an old scan tool in the area is hard. Any suggestions would be greatly apperciated.
Hey bud. You are correct, Most dealers scan tool only go back to 2006 now because they no longer have a DBR 3. They could however use the DRB simulator if they have a wipod 1. smh at that dealer if they do not have those tools. I have a DRB 3 and a wipod 1. As for your other options, ive never had to use any other option so I would not know how you can get this done. I surely hope you are subscribed to the channel, thanks for watching

NO, you should find out if the TIPM your problem first, Lets not guess at an expensive part buddy.

So exchange TIPM cus horn keeps blowing !! Just so now a used replaced tipm to now have issues w the wippers!!! Hmmmm which one will u choose ? Lol i got the message use used TIPM but it is not guaranty it will be free of any issues 💯

I got a reman (used) tipm also, and noticed the electrical throttle control went wrong, replaced it but my ETC light still comes on when it’s really cold not letting my drive above 25mph just bought a new Tipm and getting it installed Monday. Hopefully this fixes the issue. Btw I have a 13 Jeep Compass.

I have a Chrysler 200 with the same issues, its been giving me a decent amount of relay issues, it recently started to honk on its own and when i lock the car with my key fob the alarm goes on. ill most likely have to replace the TIPM but for the mean while i disconnected both horn behind the front bumper, the honk stoped working, so i decided to disconnected them.
My TIPM started smoking
That could lead to lung cancer
That writing is a pain in the ass.
