Yeah I’ve been maining sunshot for awhile now using it with lucky pants and heritage. Next season, sunshot is gonna have the highest air accuracy stat of any hand cannon so it’s gonna be nuts. Great video!

Your idea of the curated spare rations is a great one, especially because it would also have slightly decreased range. To build off of it, you could have the curated version with an assault mag type perk that increases the rpm to 150 but reduces range, or normal mag like light mag or accurzed that keeps the rpm at 140 but has increased range as a balancing thing.
The sunshot is probably the best pve weapon ive ever seen,killing enemies causes them to explode wich than kills nerby enemies causing them to explode,this allows you to create HUGE chain effects that can eaven kill medium enemies like hive knight

Try Ace with Chromatic Fire some time. It's a fun meme build and causes really nice double explosions. Very good especially when they all cluster up. 😈

statistically sunshot is the BEST hancannon when you combine handling+stability+range+reload speed, and i have been using is since this season it is really good
Glad the glasses help with eyestrain, but the best way to avoid it is to hydrate and make sure to set a timer for breaks. Learned this ages ago when I used to work from home, and it was super important when classes siwtched to remote learning.

Bruh, I got kicked from a raid fireteam for having Sunshot in my arsenal when I just wanted to farm spoils. This hand cannon literally got me through any raid I've done, including VOTD.

The only issue with that thought on spare rations is that they got rid of 150s because of them dominating the meta before beyond light, and in there mind there’s no reason for the two archetypes to exist at the same time because of the similarities between 140 and 150 rpm in hand cannons. While the currated idea is nice I feel like they will face backlash because it doesn’t feel like it did because it would have bad perks, and a gun can still destroy a meta with bad or no perks (rose for example). Idk I could be looking into it too much lol
With my luck, at 9:12 all three of those guys would be facing my direction and would all be holding Main Ingredients and Bosley for their bald heads.

Making a perk that does the opposite of adagio could be cool. Rather than slower fire with more damage, faster fire with less damage. Essentially just make it a 150 after a kill.

My only gripe with Sunshot it that the recoil animation doesn't match the recoil, so the gun blocks your crosshair
But other than that, it is my favorite weapon of all time

Not sure if Bungie would ever go for that curated route. It's one thing to make it the only other 150 HC in the game, and it's another to give it a fixed roll--the diehards for Spare Rations would riot if it isn't at least a 4/5 god roll and it would put, yet, another HC as a top tier pick in the meta when we've already got so many exotic HCs and 140's dominating their respective engagements.
I mean, who knows. Maybe since it'd be a curated roll, they'd go through with it since everyone would have a chance to pick up the same gun, but it'd be a bit chaotic in execution, I'm sure.
Edit: Not to mention, if it gets the 150rpm stat package, it'd essentially be going back on why they got rid of 150's to begin with. Hardly anyone ran a 140 when 150s were just better overall.
It might be kinda cool to see someone evolve from "not good" at PvP to "not bad" at PvP while running with you. Idk if that's feasible.

The gun I love the most but don’t use, because I feel guilty for using it. It’s the only hand cannon that has a huge friggin AOE spread, or something. So I instead roll with Eriana’s Vow and Multimach and/ or Bottom Dollar and Multimach. I feel a little less cheater that way. It’s kind of like using Mythoclast. I love it but feel dirty and so so I don’t it in PVP.
Also yes I would love too see more of Ja, and will hope that you do be friend him

There’s a reason Sunshot is the last of the 150s, it wasn’t healthy for the balance of the game to the point that even in the AR dominant meta the meta was still 150 RPM hand cannons
I mean it’s ttk is only negligibly faster than 140s. I’d probably prefer a time lost fate bringer with explosive since the stat package is better
