So agree with you, to me, Sistar are like pros when it comes to this. Not just being sexy, but performing altogether, I mean not every group really has that same spirit when they hit the stage, but Sistar just work it whatever they do! They're one of the few groups I can compliment like this tbh, just my personal view.
I LOVE THAT SISTAR IS BACK. IVE REALLY MISSED THEM. THEIR BODIES ARE JUST PERFECT. I LOVE HOW THEY ARE LIKE REAL WOMEN.
I LOVED this comeback. Sistar is my 2nd female bias group, to the point where I could be called a star1. And I agree with everything you guys pointed out. In Korea, almost 60% of Sistar fans are women, and mostly due to the fact that Korean men prefer aegyeo+a hint of sexy over confident sexy which isn't a bad thing but I guess Sistar caters to women who wanna feel empowered and feel sexy for themselves. Though I wish Bora had a bit more parts, she looked the BEST to me, and I'm SO HAPPY that Dasom, my bias, has improved SO MUCH. She sings a high note and she looked so confident during the showcase. Soyou is getting the recognition she deserves, her parts are almost equal to Hyorin's; and as it should be because she can SANG and Hyorin is turning out to be one of the best leader's in K-pop. If you watch BTS vid's of Sistar, she is no joke, she ultimately feels like a Mother nurturing her young ones. Anyways, LOVED your reaction, I was waiting for what you guys thought of their comeback. :)

I know. I saw tons of them on their official MV. I mean why can't they accept the fact that SISTAR was sexy to begin with so they are just following what they usually do, which is being sexy.

I bought the entire mini album and let me tell you Soyou SLAYS in the song "But I love you" like it shows how amazing her truly are. I think she sings the entire first half of the chorus. And then the entire chorus at the end and them high notes from her are just heaven. Love this comeback love the mini album.

I think Soyou and Dasom got to shine a lot more with this comeback. Dasom's vocals have improved greatly and she gets to show them off this time!

This song was such a fun, summery song and I love it!!!! Maybe it's because there are too many sexy concepts lately so when they see this video of SISTAR, they might take it the wrong way but SISTAR was sexy from the beginning. So I don't know what everybody's problem is with them showing a little more skin. SISTAR are grown women. They are allowed to do these things.

I truly adore Sistar but this comeback/song is beneath them. It doesn't showcase how special they are or how well they sing. Literally anyone could sing this where as they usually do things only they could pull off. 'Sunshine', the song Hyorin wrote for this, would've been a lot better. IDK
I completely disagree. Nobody else in Kpop can pull of Hyorin's parts, esp her high notes and her notes here were no different. Idk if you saw when Miss A tried to cover Alone but it just didn't tive off the same feel. If you watch SISTAR's comeback showcase, even Dasom sings her high notes like she has never before. This isn't a ballad obviously but I think this was a standard hit song for SISTAR which actually showcases' Dasom's singing like no other song has because her part is actually in her range. Hyorin will sound amazing no matter what and Soyou always does well too.
My only gripe with this song is that Bora's rap was SO SHORT >:(
tomatocars I don't doubt that they sell the song live but it just isn't as special as Sistar deserves. It's like when SPICA did 'I'll be there': it's sold well in live stages but that doesn't make it a great song musically. Sistar is performing this strong because they are great performers and entertainers but that doesn't mean the song isn't also weak. It's strong because of them but had anyone else done it I doubt people would care as much about it.
Drewski217 Then that is just where different tastes come in. I honestly love the song and thing it is catchy and the beat is fun, regardless of sistar's voice. And what you said at the end about "I doubt people would care as much about it" if sistar didn't sing it kinda applies to any song. I'll go back to my example of when miss A covered "Alone"... the song did not leave the same impact and even though miss A put their own spin and vibe on it, I honestly doubt it would have done as well if it wasn't sistar that sang it.
We both agree that sistar sells anything that they do because yes, they are amazing performers. However, I think that just because you might not like the song, it doesn't mean the song itself is weak. A lot of people, me included, love the song and think it is a great fit for sistar and a lot of other people, like yourself, don't think it was a stellar comeback.

It just doesn't feel worthy of them. Their last comeback was such a big splashy production that clearly showcased their stardom while this song/comeback doesn't live up to their worth. They elevate it because they're Sistar but the song itself doesn't deserve them.
I know you are trying to complement Sistar, and I agree that with their voices they could sing a song that is much more difficult and really showcases their ability. But not every song has to do that. This wasn't meant to be a song that would wow people with crazy high notes or anything like that. It's simply meant to be a fun catchy summer song, that you can dance and sing along too and feel summery lol. I think it's awesome that Sistar can pull off both difficult songs and catchy songs, it shows their versatility. This is the kind of song that sells in the summer, the kind of song that I personally look forward to during the summer. In a few months they'll probably put out something "big and splashy" again that will showcase their voices. It's okay for them to do both.

I really don't like Sistar becuse I don't like her voices. But those girls are so fun in variety shows and Hyorin is so charismatic! I'm not a fan but I think Sistar have cool and beautiful mv's and this was really fun to watch.
All I have to say is.......HYORIN NEEDS TO STOP LICKING HER LIPS LIKE THAT SHES TRYING TO KILL ME WITH ALL THAT SEXINESS WTF!!!!!.......and I like the song and mv lol
