I think the best plugins on this list are probably the top two, ultimatemembership pro and memberpress. I will be having a tutorial on the ultimate membership pro plugin next month because i felt that it was the easiest to use membership plugin for wordpress.

Hi Darrel thanks for all the wonderful WP plugin video which is very informative, I have seen the affiliate, multivendor and membership plugin video but I'm not sure if these suites my biz. Reason being that I operate a furniture e-com store where the members are designers who will use my site 3D design tool and than check out after their client confirm the design scheme. They will get a commission from the purchase of the products. So they would need to create their "membership" and when they use my site and sells something they get a commission on my woocommerce site. Which one of the above plugins should I use?

Can you do an updated video about wordpress speed load? With all these plugins speed is becoming a weakness with high bounce rates. Maybe theme choice, hosting provider, plugins, and size play a big role in speed load. Am even thinking about stopping to use wordpress and making a custom landing page for that reason.
Update: I found a couple videos but no one video talking about all causes mentioned.
Which one of these membership plugins, if any, can setup a duel level of membership access. For instance, if i have members under a particular paid plan that I would want to grant difference access to as far as pages and content they are able to view and see. For example, all Paid Plan A members will have access to either Page 1, Page 2, or page 3.

Hey, Great review video. Problem with most of these plugins is lack of support. Like Armember, trying to ask questions and no response after 2 days... So they maybe 'great' functionality, but, if you get stuck you're screwed. Whose has the best support?

Do you know of any plugins that restrict the number of posts a member/subscriber can put up? This could be anything from the amount within a time span (weekly/Monthly) or the amount they can post at any given time, where if they had reached their maximum amount (let's say 50)and they wanted to put up another post. In this case they would have to now remove a post or upgrade to a new plan that allowed them to post more. I have seen a few that have not been updated for a couple of years, but beyond that, I've not been able to find any.
So I have a membership tier that includes a course so I will have to charge a one time fee plus monthly subscription. Does ultimate Member Pro offer that kind of pricing?

I want to sell my two e-books. So, customers who will buy the book 1 will be able so see some (private) blog pages. And customers who buy book 2 will be able to see some other private pages. Hi Darrel! First of all, I adore your videos, your way to explain things, you are great! Could you please recommend me preferably free (or very cheap) user registration plugin? I'm a newbie, and with very low budget as well). Has basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, but no JS. For those asking about Woocommerce, he probably meant don't use it if you are only looking for a membership plugin. Woocommerce was built with the idea of an e-commerce store in mind. Sure you can buy the Memberships add-on, but you are still loading unnecessary piles of garbage from the parent plugin that will eat up all of your resources and in turn slow your site down. Additionally, if you are willing to paying $200 / year for the membership add-on anyway, you could easily get a lightweight plugin to do it better. I don't see it here, but I've integrated Memberful using its wordpress plugin for 10+ clients. There's a free version but I would recommend the $25/month plan any day.
I would need a subscription service - plus subscriber should be able to buy "credits" for extra service. What Plugin would offer this? Any thoughts?

IS there a plug-in that simply allows for a username and password to be created for a member without going through a payment gateway? So, for example, if you wanted to create a protected site that is free? (Restricted access but a free site.) Ultimate Membership Pro is great, but there does not seem to be an option to just create a username and password. That is what I need.
The huge advantage of Ultimate Membership Pro and ARMember vs. MemberPress is that Ultimate Membership Pro and ARMember both have LIFETIME updates for only :$43-49 for the FULL-featured plugin. In contrast MemberPress is $150 every year for life.

Hi Darrel, I have worked around with Booked thoroughly, if we have 2 types of services both served by same person/employee, booked does not automatically the time slot and the chance of double booking is always there. Moreover, I like Amelia because, they have an option to showcase it like a catalogue / landing page to showcase all available events and appointment booking. Do comment your views.

I think the free version of Paid Membership Pro has a payment Gateway integration.

Never use the avmember plugin...crashed my hole dashboard. Tried hours to recuperate without success.
You mean the armember plugin? It's no good?
Calvin could of been good, but i kept selecting an option that logged me out as an admin without knowing which one...so no more access to my dashboard..pain in the ass to get back. Admin had to reset my admin rights

Calvin i switched to « paid member subscriptions » and got the middle 69$ paid update. For the price, it’s decent and very easy to use. But it’s basic compared to these 200$ plus plugins. But it does the job done. You should try it. Good luck!
