Your Lovely film has wanted me to visit the Regency House again and I have signed up for their newsletters via your link. I have attended one of Paul Couchmans talks all about Regency puddings. His enthusiasm and love for the house and Regency food is contagious! 👨‍🍳👍

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting Paul and being shown round - this is where I feel the shows should be. Finding people to open their doors and letting me give a small spotlight to their world is not as easy as it looks. Thanks for comments.

I am sure there is a lot more involved in achieving that Richard , more than probably most of your viewers are aware, but think your audience is, from what I can tell a very appreciative one. I know I certainly am ~ I often find myself wishing that the programmes / walks were longer!

Many thanks Paul for the very lovely and generous invitation. I would really like to come and visit and attend one of the tours and /or one of the eating events. I shall certainly join the email list . Hopefully one day I shall be able to visit and see first hand all that is being and has been done so far, in restoring the house to it's former glory. I would love to be involved in what seems to me, such a creatively fulfilling job or situation such as you and the others working there are. It must be immensely satisfying in many respects. Thank you again for the invitation and will be sure to visit if i am ever in that part of the country.

You have to admire those that put the dedication and effort into bringing this town house back to life again after years of neglect. Imagine living in somewhere like that, amazing I would say. I have always felt, even from childhood that people leave something of themselves in wherever they live, I have always 'felt' that. Great job by all concerned, protecting heritage and history.

I was a cook in an 1840’s historic house. Everyone should get a chance to learn that, fired and potager are as easy as a modern kitchen but really good to know in a disaster( spoken from experience)

I live in a house in New England built in 1790. It was originally a sea captain’s house. Over they past 230 years the house has had many owners who have “modernized” the place, but even today you find parts of the house that go back to the original house. I really like the warming oven in what must have been the original kitchen.
