wow, I used to play league for a while, I'm not good at it so I can't enjoy watching other people play because it's not easy to understand and fun enough, but you actually comment on the game so well that I actually understand and enjoy the game! They purposely go softer on the graphics in order to make the game easier to run. When you have a free game, you need make money somehow, and the more people you have playing your game, the more people you will have spending money on your game. Riot purposely made League of Legends extremely easy to run so that anyone with a computer can play it. If everyone can play it that means that the game's player base will be larger and the company will bring in more revenue from in game purchases. Notice how games like Valorant, Dota 2, and Fortnite are also very easy games to run. These games are also all free to play. AAA games are often far harder to run than eSports games. However, this isn't necessarily a big deal for companies as they make money as soon as people purchase their game. They don't necessarily need as large an audience because the money is gained immediately upon purchase while the money companies bring in from free to play games often comes in gradually as players decide whether or not they want to give the developers money through microtransactions. Going back to League of Legends, it literally came out in 2009, which is over a decade ago, so you can't expect the graphics to be amazing. These games are purposely designed to have lower quality graphics/effects in order to gain a wider audience and more income.
I don't play league but I have played this type of game both PC (Dota) and mobile (ML). Skills look pretty much similar. I think I'm going back to the dark side while waiting for Genshin's next version... 😂
As a former 2-time Diamond Rank League player....I already stop playing this game because of Toxicity in-game & the new introduced chars are overpowered like Vex, Gwen, & Viego......glad that I switched to Genshin now at AR57 F2P player. But sadly....the Genshin Community is alot more Toxic than LOL & Pokemon fans which are all my favorites.
