    Thank you for sharing this brother! As a young guy who grew up without a Christ centered male role model in the home, I’ve found myself greatly struggling with confidence and insecurity. Appearance, all that stuff. It especially arises when in relationships and I know that’s not of Christ. I appreciate the content you share! I pray to recognize how to remain cosistent in my confidence in Christ, and to be the man he’s called me to be for my family and my future family.

      Same bro, not having those deep rooted lessons in being a man in Christ is difficult. But the fact that you acknowledge it and seek to fix it means you'll be just fine. God is going to bless you soon bro, he sees you're on the right path and it won't go unrewarded. I'll pray for you bro

    First things first, confidence shouldn't be compared/ based on how confident others are (e.g. you vs. your spouse's level). If you are good in your own skin, it shouldn't be determined relative to other people

    Isaac I have been watching your videos for over a year now. I was in a really low scary place and listening to you talk and the things you say seem to always hit me to my core. I just watched your other video about the Hustle Culture and I feel like that is where I'm at currently and I need to work on intentionally applying your steps. Thank you for making content like this for us who are struggling or questioning things.

    1) Eliminate instant gratification: waiting plus work equal satisfaction and confidence.
    2) Attempt difficulty. You must be humbled first before getting true confidence. Facing rejection and failure.
    3) Know your Identity. Micro and Macro. You already have security in your macro identity.

    Hey Isaac big fan! I was wondering if maybe you could make a video on feeling like you need to be perfect all the time. I struggle with feeling that way in my day to day. But Instead of feeling fulfilled, I typically just end up feeling sad like I’ll never be good enough and that I may as well quit. I know God doesn’t give up on me and that we’re saved by Jesus not our works but it’s still a big struggle I have.

    I am a shy guy, so I get hit on a lot instead of me hitting on them. I attract, but my reaction is pushing away. I reject them, I try to explain this while being humble as I can, everything that looks good is not good for you. If we ate anything that came our way, we would probably be dead. I am not saying I am a model citizen, rich man, where I need to be, a model, just saying the truth. I see a lot of worldly women, it is like the devil is trying to pull me into sex with random women, it is hard to resist but I been doing it most my life.
    I thank God he gave me a devil for a ex-fiance to make me look back and think twice before engaging with someone sexually before marriage. I know God made me this way for a reason. Good video. God has protected me the whole way and he will you too. This is not a attack on people who fell into lust, we are all renewed under Christ. We have different paths. just expressing myself as I have nowhere to release into an outlet. You have a lot of wisdom for a young man.

    Word of advice to all who read: Do not live to seek success. Live to please God. Do not live for yourself. Live for others.
    People who seek fulfillment will not find it in the world. Worldly success is fleeting and ultimately not fulfilling.
    True spiritual fulfillment will come from being a servant of God and secondarily being a servant of people. Do not let worldly things like money, stuff, followers, subscribers, and the "approval" of people be your marker for success. Let you marker for success be determined by following the will of God. He calls us to love others, to serve others, and to show forth His grace to the world.
    Our walk with God is our ultimate marker of success. Anything else is secondary.
    We should vie to live simple and quiet lives.
    1 THESSALONIANS 4:11-12" Make it your goal to live a quiet life, minding your own business and working with your hands, just as we instructed you before. 12Then people who are not believers will respect the way you live, and you will not need to depend on others.

      @corvuscorax8459 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I mean, that sounds great man, but how on earth can you gauge how successful your walk is? I've been asking for help for seven years straight, not even a word in response. Nothing. How am I supposed to be able to know how successful my walk with God is, when He wont even respond to me??
      Personally - it feels pointless now. I've lost all of my friends, I have no connection with people 20-40 years older than me (most of the USA population), and I am stuck in a dead-end job.

    • @joebikes
      @joebikes 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@corvuscorax8459 I can empathize man. I have cried out to the Lord to speak to me before also. I have questioned "Why Lord!" so many times. I switched those cries and questions to prayer: "speak to me through your word Lord". The Lord speaks to us through His word. It is living. It provides us life.
      On successfulness: we will never measure up. Our success is through the Lord. His Grace is our success. Which He gives to us freely. All who believe in the Lord - that He died on the cross for our sins - has received that grace. They have received that spiritual success. Through our own works we cannot be saved. The grace of the Lord is freely given.
      When you believe in the Lord, that spiritual walk cannot be measured. It just is. And praise the Lord for that! When you believe in Him, He has given you that grace freely.
      This is me: My ability to see the Lord clearly in my life was broken and ruined when I lived in sin. I lived with a porn addiction for many years. I was not able to see the Lord clearly and His work in my life because I was constantly saying "NO" to Him when I lived in sin.
      I no longer live with that. I am now able to see the Lord at work in my life more clearly. I have a better understanding of His living word and I live with a more abundant hope.
      I do hope what I say does not come across as a platitude. Once we put our faith and trust in the Lord - that He died to save us from torment - we are called to go forth and sin no more. In my past I was not doing that and my walk with the Lord suffered because of it.
      I am by no means perfect - I am a sinner - and I will never be perfect, but when I put forth my love for the Lord, and I made that a priority in my life, to "Go forth and sin no more", that is when I started to see the Lord working in my life more clearly.
      I will pray the Lord guides and directs you, that He will make your paths straight, and your future clear.
      If you want to continue talking, please do respond. This type of dialogue helps me grow in my faith, and I hope it does the same for you.

    About the point at the end, are you saying that we should be a jack of all trades? In terms of our micro identity shouldn't we choose one thing to be actually great at so that we can build our confidence off of that one thing?
