@@MrEverydaynormalguy it's the mixing and mastering of the recording, you can barely hear the toms, and the snare is somewhat harsh and dead both at the same time.. as for the cymbals - for me just ok, not great and not terrible, I never really liked the sound of Frederik's cymbals anyway, so ..
The song is great and the performance is awesome, but is it real live? I mean, I´ve spotted several takes where you can tell that it isn´t from the same performance (Hansi holding the mic with different hands or the drummer serious/smiling/serious at 00:52)
Camera (or tuner) on Andre's guitar headstock is appearing and disappearing during the solo ) Obviously video is edited and compiled from several performances. But does it mean it was not live?

It´s made using several performances, and the editing gives it away -They could have done it without noticing by selecting the proper takes, and not using the one you said, with the GoPro on the headstock. My main concern is how much of editing and re-recording was done here...
@@JotunStudio The Live beyond the spheres CD contained live performances which were almost 100% unedited, if not 100% unedited, while the videos were taken from various live shows. Maybe it is the same with these Imaginations live songs: there is a single audio live track but many shows used for the video.

Thomen left the band 15 years ago, Frederik the drummer from 2005 onward (he also plays flute and bagpipes in the albums)
