With the capital that they have, to get off to a good start, pushing the label's name out there, ofc it makes sense to actively promote one of the few artists that they have. Some other labels can't pull this off due to the number of artists they have or financial constraints. But that being said, her previous company, YMC Ent., logics aside, I feel the same as you in that their management is poor. But as for why, I'm not quick to judge yet despite the displeasure i have for them.
