Our friends at MaxxedOut MotorSports held an event at our local sand dunes in Silver Lake Michigan. We couldn't pass up the chance to go check out some awesome UTVs! They held 3 events, and this video showcases the winner of the Show and Shine! A ridiculous Polaris RZR Turbo with a fully built Z1 Turbo engine! Built by Priceless Performance, we got an in depth look at this amazing SxS!

Met Jason Price at Silver Lake a few years back and is an awesome dude. Gave my son and me a ride in his insane orange Arctic Cat sxs. He knows his stuff and it shows in this video. Will definitely be working with him after getting a RZR.

Spent a ton of time at those dunes. Seen some people do some real dumb shit there and been caught up in some of people’s bad choices. All in all it was a blast.
Indeed man - they are getting a little too crowded now. People get hurt almost every weekend up there it seems

I know how it goes. We just got back from Carlise Iowa and raced the Heartland Challenge (4 hour UTV race) We broke early but one guy on our team took 3rd in the Open class so we pitted for them and did everything we could to help them place well. When you drive 1,000 miles in 2 days and ride for 15 min because of a breakage things LOL

That RZR had a Suzuki turbo motor they can run big boost also sounds like an interesting tuning set upDefinitely do more interviews on interesting stuff like that

I'm not sure what RZR you're talking about. The white RZR, that won the show and shine, has a Z1 motor. It's a 1056cc, turbo, 2 cylinder motor made by Arctic Cat.
NO the Z1 motor was made for Arctic Cat by Suzuki but not any more, now they get Yamaha motors

Do you recommend removing the clutch cover on the X3’s? I’m headed to the dunes this wknd and have only been once. I have a 2020 X3 RR with stage 3R EVO tune. I understand the pros of removing the clutch cover but what are some cons? Thanks!

I run the xtx on my sportsman 1000xp. Turning monstermayhams 30inch in the mud... stock POLARIS belts blew to easy. Over 1500 miles on the dayco. Mostly mud running .... plowing snow all winter... and snow bogging.... no complaints
Any thoughts on this belt?

The event was called UTV UNLEASHED because UTV INVASION is this week in IDAHO
13 and a half minutes long and only a minute and a half of action. all the crazy builds there and still talk, talk talk.Maxed out must mean maxxed out on talking!
Here's a few more words! The event was broken into 3 videos. This one was the show and shine winner "interview" Theres 2 other videos we have from that event... a wheelie competition and a drag race video. Feel free to look them up if you feel like finding more things to complain about. 🍻

Why did 90% of the machines not have front axles??? And why were their belt covers off? Did they leave em like rhat
I never noticed they didn't have front axles! Most of those cars are built for drag... They probably don't do much 4wd action. They take the covers off to try and keep the belts as cool as possible
Why are most of them running without the clutch covers?
Those high powered CVT cars run with the cover off primarily to do everything they can to keep the belts as cool as possible. Usually, running with the cover off in the sand isn't that bad for a CVT - and can really help keep the belt cool
That motor is made by Suzuki for Arctic cat
400 hp on a rubber band? If you wanted a high HP car why don't you just buy/build a sand car with a trick LS or Subie motor? Then you can have a more stout transmission. Just doesn't make sense to me. I think these cars are fast enough for what they were meant to do. And that wasn't to drag race! Just my $.02!
something kinda special about 400hp on 2 cylinders big chieftain! A sand rail would still be 3 times the cost of that RZR + way more expensive to fix when it breaks. /shrug - We're all just trying to party!

So I've noticed you guys run the flag on the front...we in Oregon run it in the rear and I go to glamis once a year and it's ran in the rear down there as well so what's with running it on the front?
It's a local Michigan law that you have to have a 10' mounted flag on the front of a vehicle. Personally, I think it's a fine idea. I mean, the front of the vehicle is going to be what crests a sand dune first

There is no transmission..... it's a belt drive.
whats the gas mileage and range? (and when I mean range, i mean total estimate; flat-out, half-throttle, cruisin the dunes.) I wonder how economic it is to have these toys around town.
Not very lol. Units built like this are pretty much straight line toys. You can dune them a bit
what about a 220+ horsepower unit? and how much do these things weigh with the setups? Is it possible to have a 4-seater to weigh under 3000 lbs?

I'm not sure there is a feud? If there is then I'm not aware of it. I have spent a good bit of time with them, and talk to them on a fairly regular basis. I feel like we're on fine terms. I just feel like, people get "clicky" ya know? We're just trying to have fun... We have no beef with anyone! If you're talking about their video where they said someone complained about them - I know who that is. I don't think they're talking about us
