Jason, PLEASE develop a ball differential for the clodbuster! This would be the icing on the cake for your regulator truck. Thundertech racing produced one years ago but they cannot be found anywhere today.
Hi Jason! I’ve been wanting to buy a Clod Buster for a while now but always had this question. Should I buy the CB kit or since at the end I’m going to upgrade everything, should I just buy the parts and put the Truck together or do I need anything from the original kit?
If the BTA is must, why don't they just add it in the package. I want to get the chassis but the BTA is always sold out while the chassis is available. Kinda dumb to have have it sold separately.
I will hold out until you make your version of the Clod Buster! I want a total package that I am able to buy parts for!! I love the idea of having multiple monster trucks!!! Just want the added insurance of parts availability, to go along with said multiple monster trucks!!!
I want to build a Clod, what parts are retained from the New style stock Tamiya Clod kit? If any parts are for that matter for use with this aftermarket set up.

I had 4 of those and sold them about 5 years ago. Kicking myself in the ass every day now.

You honestly don't need it. I've ran longer wheelbase trucks before and really haven't enjoyed them as much as I have the Regulator.

You need the axles and ladder bars

if you just want to use bas steering and the regulator chassis, than you'll need the complete axles
wow.. nice chassis, but i think if you upgrade to aluminum maybe stronger then this one 😬
Not needed. This is a very strong chassis for its intended application of being a retro race truck.

We need a cantilever suspension for the regulator!!
Kinda defeats the purpose of it being a Retro Style truck. Now a cantilever would work well on a sport mod setup.
