    As an adult student I once corrected the lecturer (she was mistaken). No animosity on either side. After class an international Japanese student approached me and reprimanded me. Asian teaching and especially Japanese is authoritarian and students aren't to have an opinion. Preach and copy.

    You can detect Miran, when she's speaking English there were tinges of both Irish (the "r"s and Japanese accents at times. In and out.

    I found your videos today and I’m so glad for that! But go and ask my family if they are happy for losing me to these videos.😅 I really appreciate your additional texts explaining phrases and such. 33:16 I felt the same when I returned to my Swedish lessons (another official language in Finland) after a gap year in London; my Swedish was so rusty and instead I slipped English words out constantly.

    She is acting as a regular Japan girl of her age.
    Even speak in two languages; at least.
    Childhood is a strong thing
    and difficult to change this period memory;
    even from body language.
    Couch, thanks for giivng opportunity
    to listen and watch this interview.

    Don’t fret Miran appreciate the “differences” in Irish English. There is no verb 'have' in Irish and the past tenses are formed with parts of the verb 'be' and the preposition 'after' (Irish tar éis) e.g., 'I'm after having/eating my dinner' (Irish 'Tá mé tar éis mo dhinnéar a ithe').

    Very cool. She speaks with an accent. If she speaks only two languages,I would say that her accent is due to her Japanese…the rhythm, pace of her talking … It’s probably the same when she speaks Japanese …

    As an English teacher I don’t notise a strong Irish accent here. She speaks normal. Listen to Sinéad O’connor interviews for a real Irish accent…
