Orbital
By Adrian B. Sims
Item: 00-50664
Series: MakeMusic Symphonic Band
Grade 4.5
Referring to the orbit of an electron, planet, or galaxy, Orbital propels the listener back and forth between musical ideas representing tremendous gravitational forces. Adrian Sims does a phenomenal job in the development of this work, and the heroic central theme truly soars as the piece comes to a thrilling and powerful conclusion!

Loving the bold brassiness of the horns in this recording, really brings to life this stunning work!
We (UTA) played this piece for a concert just today w/ a more brought out vibe part and it sounded incredible in our recital hall. Absolutely in love with this composition
I feel that 6/8 is the perfect time signature for anything described as "heroic". Fantastic piece! :)
SUCH AN AMAZING PIECE!!!!!!!
I LOVE THE FEELING!!!!!!!
Love the dynamic contrast and the flow through the music, wonderful piece of art!
Very nice piece! I would imagine the little nightmares the kids will have with the keys though haha!
Amazing dynamic contrasts through out the song!
Thoroughly enjoyed this!
I swear the covers on these songs ALWAYS look some old windows background or something lol. Good some from the horn section!
E minor in a grade 4?! Dang.....
Amazing piece nonetheless
start reminds of a old game named prodigy? i can't recall but we used to play it in elementary school.
🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤
future nae nae baby track
A fantastic and riveting work, but this needs to be labeled grade 5 at least. Challenging key, stuff that will give a whole lot of brass players a run for their money, potentially overbearing for an untrained musician.
An untrained musician shouldn't be playing a 4.5 though. I think 4.5 fits this piece well.
