This video is a commentary on the technique used to convince the general public that any delay in enactment of the 1/8% sales tax increase to fund the Suffolk County Wastewater Plan will have dire consequences. The technique basically involves scaring the public with fabricated and exaggerated public health threats including cancer and birth defects. Also discussed is the conflicts between academia, business, not-for-profits and government funding. Featured are several Suffolk County Legislators.
