Agree that Nissan Micra XV comes with CVT gearbox but the price is too much to ask for, for a brand that is almost loosing it stakes in the market. With very less and somewhere no service centers it also becomes a hard one to own.
Whereas a little over spending of 40 to 50k could get us Honda Jazz V CVT. Giving us an overall package and car owning experience.
@Parth agree about over pricing of Micra CVT but not sure about quality of a Honda
@@manishpandey6287 Honda cars, agree feel much lighter. But an Autocar India article dated 28th Jan 2015 stated that Honda jazz gets too safety rating.
Further, the overall quality of a Honda car is much more better than those offered by Nissan.
However, for a city drive Honda jazz definitely offers better drivability.

It holds it well on the slopes like mall parking and ghats in D mode it self . Though a hill assist feature could have given easily

Cvt does not give better milage than amt. Amt gives equivalent to manual transmission.
Though its a good car... It looks dated... Needs facelift.. Rather a new generation.... Nissan doesn't do enough for indian market.... And out of the blue they launch a product and expect it to be successful.... Look at ford... Although they dont sell that much... But the entire line up is fresh... They keep updating to keep it relevant

I have driven MICRA CVT and its really a very good but underrated car. In its price tag, this has the only CVT gearbox . Other cars offerig CVT are proiced higher e.g Baleno CVT, Jazz CVT, I20.CVT and Figo CVT.

Agreed about different classes. But you get brand support at may be 65% of the price, I suppose features are more or less the same.

@@manishpandey6287 i have polo gt tsi, and it doesn't rattle at all, overall it is much better than cvt
I like seamless / continuous transmission offered by a CVT...DSG has had some issues @Nivesh
