dream is literally so perfect for his role. his voice and the way he speaks, he’s SO genuinely unnerving and it’s incredible. his acting is way too underrated.

I always felt weirded out by the changes his voice go through depending on who's stream he's on, like how arrogant he is with Tommy and how meek he is during Quackity's lore. I realized though that the voice change could be the perspective. Tommy's perception of Dream is very different from Quackity's or anybody else's, so the voice is different to match.

He wants c!Quackity to believe that he is afraid (or he probably is and is showing that for real), and wants c!Tommy to believe that he has the upper hand (which he may or may not, who really knows). He’s playing a certain role to get the character’s guards down or to get them so overwhelmed that they can’t walk without looking over their shoulders.

Dream is the kind of person to look at tommy and ask:"is anyone gonna traumatize that?" And not wait for an answer

It's so clear to see that c!Dream is herding c!Tommy in the direction of the Syndicate. Every time he runs into the wrong direction, c!Dream pearls to turn him around and once c!Tommy is close to the Syndicate, c!Dream just runs after him and stopped pearling.
The same happened with c!Dream and c!Sapnap. c!Dream was herding c!Sapnap to Kinoko, albeit in a less direct way.
c!Dream pushed both of them to places they'd feel safe at.
Arguments that support this:
- c!Dream could've easily killed c!Tommy if he wanted to, but he didn't, he barely attacks him and when he does, it's only to steer him into the forward direction.
- c!Dream could've fought c!Sapnap but he didn't, despite him wanting to get his armor back (which is important to him considring he grew more agitated when c!Sapnap kept refusing), instead he lured c!Sapnap outside and with a bit of manipulation, lured him towards Kinoko.
Not sure what his plan is, but this is interesting. He definetly has a plan since it's proven that c!Dream's character has a deep level of strategy behind him, supported by the fact that the disc finale imprisonment was staged.
Whoa- your right. If he’s doing that so he knows where they feel the safest, he’ll try his hardest to get rid of them. He could succeed with kinoko if he tries hard enough, but idk about techno. Techno is someone i wouldnt mess with.
Maybe it's because c!Dream wants them to feel safe, like always when they meet they will be able to run away to the place they feel safe at, so one day they'll fight, but that time he'll actually kill them and they won't see it coming

Unfortunately in the smp being a morally good guy and being relevant to lore gets you the short end of the stick as they stated that ranboo is in a limbo where he is apparently very gruesomely tormented so that’s fun

I think this encounter *might* have been a paranoid hallucination on Tommy's part. He is definitely not in his right mind, thinking that a 2-high wall that anyone could easily go under, over, or through would stop Dream. Philza didn't see Dream who had been chasing Tommy. Also, Dream should have higher priorities than fucking with Tommy.
That said, Dream has a history of psychologically torturing Tommy and he did get the axe (which he then gave to Techno), so it is very possible that this was real.
It’s possible the hallucination started the moment he learned the axe of peace vanished
This may be true, since it would make more sense for Dream to prioritize getting back his gear over torturing Tommy. And plus canonically Dream may have been fighting with Sapnap during this time.
Than again maybe Dream could’ve made time to do both by pearling. And Dream seems a bit deranged so he may not be thinking through stuff anymore and just impulsively doing things.
The way Dream acts towards Tommy is pure hate. Not something like "I do it just because I want to/can". He is absolutely hates Tommy. That's why I like him more than simple antagonists. These usually only care about themselves and simply doesn't care about their enemy as a person. But Dream. He's different.

i keep getting secondhand anxiety from tommy's acting he's just that good. i couldn't watch it live but i was still shaking while watching the vod. anyway i still dislike cphil but im thankful to him for helping ctommy. even tho he, y'know... helped cdream escape.
