I absolutely love fishing for Brookies, did a long hike my self to get to a beautiful lake to catch some massive Brookies. On hair jigs and spinners! You drove at least I filmed my self huffing and puffing but it was worth it.

This was one of your best videos. The brookies were beautiful. I don't know if this was your first time at this lake but my rule is that if you walk around a lake once you already know where the best spot to fish is. So just go to the same spot every time. On most mountain lakes, 80% of the fish are in 20% of the water area anyway.
Yeah I’ve been here before. Last time a caught a few around the entire lake. That day they literally were all on top of eachother.

There’s a lot of spots I go to that are a total bust. This is just a highlight reel😅
What state are you fishing in ?
Goes to lake 1 that isn't stocked while totally missing the good lake that is very close by.
"We're gonna head to another lake that's not too far away."
*Proceeds to drive 2 hours to a totally different area. 😂
But that drive ended up being worth it, so that's all that matters. I've done that a bit, myself.
Loving the size of those brooks at lake #2. It was always a small fish lake until recently. You did really well there. Very nice to see the thick weeds have calmed down as well.

I have all brands. Ugly stick, fenwick, Berkeley. They’re all great. But if you’re prone to breaking stuff like me, go with an ugly stick. Durable and cheaper.

8:20, nothing common like that in the east. Just amazes me that brookies were introduced to the west. People should really appreciate some of these invaders. Brooks, smallies. Just better habitat for fish that deserved better.

I disagree. The road going out is always tougher than the road going in. Your tired and your almost always going downhill which is harder than uphill.
