    This video shows the base plate being mounted sideways. If you want to mount a front facing camera gimbal you should mount the base plate the other way.

    what is the size of the wire coming off the board to the xt60 for the battery? My battery has 10 awg cable, does that mean I MUST use 10 awg cable to the board or can I use 14 awg?

    hi marcuelcajon, I am experiencing the same issues as you now. I am using apm 2.5 with power module. How should i connect my battery to the board? Much thanks for you reply.

    What is that Versatile (VU)? I am using this board with an apm 2.5 so instead of a VU what am I suppose to connect with the battery to the board?

    But why doesn't the kit come with an XT60 plug? Now I have to go find my own somewhere

      Many builders have other than connectors. The XT60 isn't universal. All my batteries have T connectors.

    hey, im up to the soldering part but i dont have the necessary tools to do the soldering.. so is there any alternative methods i can use?
    i need to complete this within a week or so, so a quick reply would be most helpful

      sicaxav hi i can help but maybe I am late sorry btw you can use tape to like keep it attached to the soldering pads but it won't be secure so for a secure connection use a soldering machine cuz or else the wire might come out during flight with tape

    Well not the best soldering job I`ve seen, might be some cold soldering there with breakdown after a wile, give a little more heat and hold it still a little longer after removing the heat! Better to use a more powerful soldering iron, then the time to heat it up is less and the heat doesn`t go that deap in the board and the conector.

      Did you notice the video is speeded up?

      Oh yes, if you take a look you notice that she moves the solder around with the iron and that means there is too little heat and the cale should be still until the solder has gotten hard again, now it does not...

    • @balexandre
      @balexandre 10 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Flux is used in soldering to remove oxides from the contacts of the parts to be soldered together. I use it every time!
