At 19:00, you played Blue Marvel and Skaar on turn 7 into Cancun (where power is irrelevant). That left you with 2 unused energy (5+0 spent, as Skaar was free). That let the opposing Red Hulk grow another 4 points, and you lost the tie-breaker. If you played Blue Marvel and Mysterio (5+2 spent), you would have used all 7 energy, Red Hulk doesn't grow, and you win the tie-breaker by a point (instead of losing by 3 points).
The only addition i would make to this deck is Ceara, which saves the one cost and 6 cost cards from getting destroyed. would be a great counter to save cards like skarr and sasquatch from shang chi 👍❤️

Cancun was a lot of fun. Nocturne out on turn 3+ to another lane, then legion on the last turn into Cancun with Nocturne moved across after to trigger after Legion and win on the cancun lane that 99% of people didn't play anything into. It was glorious fun.
I’m loving the Squatch. Running a similar list to this but I put Patriot, Wasp, and Sinister in it. Also have Hit Monkey. Lot of fun lines and really unpredictable. No one expects Skarr, Squatch, and Crossbones in a Patriot deck
My inital deck with Sasquatch was basically this but with Ultron Patriot weaved in as it has a lot of overlap and gives a backup plan for when the enemy had Mobius which eats this deck alive otherwise.
Thanks for the deck! I won my first ever infinity conquest with it, only I don't have Gladiator so I replaced it with Baron Zemo. So in case you are wondering if the deck is any good, it is rock solid! 👍

Folks have been dumping on Skarr and I smile. He's key to wins. MVP in my book with Crossbones/Kul into Ronan. Shang Chi can't hit them all; you're correct. I've gotten easy infinite with it for the last 3 seasons. Hit 2500 Infinite rank this season with it in fact.

So this is why I faced so many of this deck in conquest recently huh… I’d say maybe switch Zabu into a tech card like Rogue or Red Guardian? This deck doesn’t do well if opponent can get a MMM out on T3 Morph is surprisingly good now this meta, chances to hit Rulk or something big is actually not bad
Morph is fun but I ran it with red guardian instead. I get the morph high roll into another 10 idea but the deck already is so good at getting skar down to 2 I felt it needed some disruption.
I've been using Quake personally (move Cancun to opponent's highest lane), but the real play with Cancun is Legion which I don't have yet. If you are winning the game, you win. If you are losing, just Legion Cancun and you will tie. So basically any time you have Legion you can kinda snap with pretty much no risk.

I think Cancun's effect is worded poorly, in a way that messes some interactions. We can get that the total power on Cancun is meaningless at the End of the game, but it doesnt say anything about 'winning' the Location itself, making cards like Crossbones, Omega Red, Adam Warlock, etc. to not work as one would understand from their own text.
I'm in the same boat - Cull seems crucial. I've been trying Ronan and swapping Zabu for Psylocke or Forge or maybe even Master Mold, I dunno. Seems like anything other than Cull makes this deck weaker but I'm still climbing with it
Cancun is so annoying. I crafted a deck just for this week to work with Cancun. But man... I wish there wasn't so many Locations in this game that were so punishing but instead somehow amplified play more. I guess they can get away with it because games are so fast but man... feels bad sometimes.

First game they didnt retreat because of how awfully snowguard is made. For some redundant reason vesuvius DESTROYS the retreat button, not disable it. The wording on vesuvius makes it seem as if snowguard can re-enable it, however it can't. One of the many stupid interactions with snowguard thatt further put her down as my least favorite card design in the game
There’s a series 5 card in the game called “High Evolutionary” and if he’s in your deck, all no-ability cards in your deck (Misty Knight, Cyclops, Hulk etc.) unlock their secret abilities. The secret abilities are mostly based around having unspent energy or afflicting negative power on the opponent’s cards. Cyclops’s secret ability is “After you end a turn with unspent energy, afflict two enemy cards here with -1 power”.

Vesuvius is bugged with the snowguard hawk lol, the retreat button loses the extra Vesuvius animation but still can't be pressed

I figured it out guys, I know why Regis doesn't snap on Versuvius. It's so he can say stuff like I got 18 cubes without snapping for the intro.
