The People of the Secret - Chapter 8 - Gurdjieff

An audiobook version of a book called “The People of the Secret”. The book was written by Ernest Scott and has an introduction by English author Colin Wilson. It is currently out of print.
The book is about Sufis. If you don’t know what or who that is, please do a little research before listening. I would suggest the TH-cam channel of Idries Shah, who was a well-known Sufi.

The book makes the claim that there are so-called ‘secret people’ who have looked out and guided humanity since the dawn of time. Not for evil ends, but rather to help us achieve the aim of our existence. What is the aim of our existence? That is revealed directly in the book, without any mysticism, in the last chapter.
