Bedford Station 2/8/23

Bedford Station is located on the Midland Mainline between London St Pancras and Leicester
Services here are operated by both Thameslink and also East Midlands Railway.
Thameslink services operate a few times a hour towards London St Pancras, Three Bridges and onto Brighton some services also terminate at various locations across London. All Thameslink services are operated with Class 700 Electric Multiple Units
Long Distance Intercity East Midlands Railway services used to call here fairly regularly during the day, these services headed either towards St Pancras or towards Nottingham or Sheffield. And were operated using Class 180/222 Diesel multiple units and Class 43 High Speed Trains
In place of the once long distance EMR services Local East Midland Railway "Connect" services now only call here now on a half hourly basis towards London St Pancras or towards Corby, all EMR Connect services are operated with Class 360 Electric Multiple Units cascaded from Greater Anglia.
